Whips are single-handed striking weapons which were introduced by Ambition of the Illuminus. These weapons are ideal for attacking large groups of enemies at once as well as inflicting a variety of status effects. The inflicted status effect depends on one of two things. In the case of TENORA WORKS whips, the element is the determining factor, however G.R.M. and Kubara whips have set status effects based on model, not element. Furthermore, while G.R.M. and Kubara whips are not limited in which elemental attribute they can have, TENORA brand whips are. Each A-grade TENORA whip can come in one of two elements (for example, Vish can be either lightning or ground, but nothing else), and each S-grade whip is limited to a single element.
PP recovery
This table illustrates the natural PP regeneration rate for whips based on manufacturer and Guardian type. Kubara whips are not listed as their regeneration rates vary between models.
