Front Page

  • I think it looks a bit silly like that, to be honest. Most of the really important links are in the sidebar without scrolling anyway. Just my two cents. --Qwerty 20:55, 19 May 2009 (CDT)
  • I think with all the changes and organization that have been done since both the sidebar and that navigational section got settled in, we could probably look into something new. --S-T-H 22:06, 19 May 2009 (CDT)
  • I think that the green box saying psupedia could prob be removed since the logo says it all... if ppl dont know where they are by seeing that already then something is wrong :p, also maybe reducing the recent updates to just 3 things instead of 4 since 4 updates back is usually a month+ more back... most of us visitors and contributors usually watch the recent changes like a hawk (least i know i do lol)--MMSP15 Created1 19:27, 20 May 2009 (CDT)

Stacked drop charts

  • Very nice. The stacked charts look a lot better for the single-difficulty PSP missions. - EspioKaos 10:27, 5 October 2008 (CDT)

Automation Possibility?

  • So given monsters' base stats, they all share a common set of level multipliers? If so, tables like this would be pretty sweet. In addition though, would it not be possible to make lookup tables of said multipliers and said monster base stats to create automated bestiaries for each mission page given the mobs in the mission and the level of each difficulty?
(I know that's thinking on a somewhat grand scale, but if it is possible then that'd be one heck of an efficient way to add a lot of detail to every mission article.) - Miraglyth 22:22, 17 February 2007 (CST)
  • I think this is already being done actually; from what I know Sounomi filled in stuff for the current Monsters article using her SQL db (which already had this info, both being copied from an XLS file containing the data I had made earlier, and had uploaded to psupedia.org as well, after which noone bothered to wikify it up to now). I have yet to check if the patterns that could be seen in this data hold even for levels above 100 or that are not multiples of five, but yeah. At least it's something I guess; info like this really was missing. Too bad NPC stats are actually completely different from those for monsters and regular characters. - Tycho 15:06, 18 February 2007 (CST)

Table Comments

  • That's an impressive set of information, but it does make the table too wide for the page unless users are running 1920x1440 or something. I guess that can't really be complained about since function is more important than visual, however I do question the use of the "Attr." column since (unless the data is false and real values differ) all entries seem to be 100 even for non-elemental foes. - Miraglyth 22:22, 17 February 2007 (CST)
    • Oh yeah. I'd forgot to mention - The system of "Small", "Medium" and "Big" doesn't do much for me. It makes no differentiation between Zoona and Volfu (both "Medium"), or between Polavohra and Magas Maggahna (both "Big"). - Miraglyth 22:29, 17 February 2007 (CST)
  • Yeah.. my own screen only goes up to 1024*768 or the like DX, but I don't really know how it could be improved on without beheading the table. I agree listing the Elemental Attribute column might be pretty useless; I think the only one that had a different value for it was offline SEED Magashi. As for the whole size thing, I wouldn't even have found it worth listing if it was something silly I had come up with myself; Bible does list them. The reason why I think they didn't just randomly add some crap either is because I think the game actually uses them too. The example might be trivial, but it matters for the NPC dialogue at least; I don't know for sure about the bigger monsters, but for all of the 'Small' monsters the PMs/NPCs suddenly start making comments about how cute they are. Perhaps not all that relevant, but I just copied stuff I had. - Tycho 15:06, 18 February 2007 (CST)
