Items that can be bought and sold to NPCs for Meseta have Meseta values associated with them. These values seem to depend on both the item type, and the star rarity value. Items can be sold to NPCs for 5~50% of the price depending on the item type, but this does not apply to starting gear; which can only be sold for 4 Meseta a piece.
