SEGA's billing servers will be undergoing periods of maintenance over the next few days in order to perform some firmware upgrades. [[Updates/October 2008#Update 059|October 24's update]] made the universe just a little bit smaller, as both the PC/PS2 and Xbox 360 servers have received a reduction in their total number of universes.  The PC/PS2 side was taken from 18 down to 10 universes, while the Xbox 360 side went from 30 to 20.  Aside from that, each universe now has a unique name based on various constellations. Trick or treat!?

Gurhal has gone ghastly with October 31's return of Halloween! For three weeks, Rappy Latans will be rising from their graves to give Guardians a chance at multiple seasonal rares. However, there is one item which will be absent from the possible drops. LV150+ Latans were supposed to have a chance of dropping Pumpkin Trick, however the weapon will not be available due to issues with its stats and description.
