*** Ah? I wouldn't have thought the Colony would actually house more of them than their most populous planet, not to mention that the Colony only consists of Humans for about fifty percent at most. But yeah, it all depends on the definition of 'home planet'. Initially they were the only race out there, so obviously they originally never had a home. On the site they are portrayed against a Colony background, but despite that, it should be noted that while the Guardians were founded by a Cast and the Colony is currently run by a Human, Parum was nonetheless presumably initially primarily Human, and retained it as its prominent race, even though the government got handed over to Casts etc. - Tycho 10:32, 16 November 2006 (PST)

*** CASTs run Parum, but it is pretty much the Human planet. CASTs run Parum because their politics - free from petty human subtleties (but at the same time lacking the positives of impulsive emotion) - unified a fractured and war-torn planet. It is still the Human planet though, CASTs just make up the bureaucracy. It could be called the CAST planet too, but to be honest they seem just as prevalent on the Colony. Mewn

I was alerted to this on PSOW, in this thread. The statement appears to have little backing and seems nothing more than a rumour or mistake. Any chance the user who made this edit could explain it? I will point out that adding rumours with no proof is harmful to the wiki as a whole. Mewn 10:52, 1 December 2006 (PST)

Could someone verify these numbers? --Seikas2 13:03, 1 December 2006 (PST)

Latest revision as of 21:03, 1 December 2006

  • The new edit, 'Humans are good for beginners', doesn't seem very objective to me. Being all-rounded does not necessarily imply being 'worse' in general; expert classes should not be ignored either, and even if characters are 'more challenging to play' this does not necessarily imply they are more suitable for beginners. I'm going to change this. - Tycho
  • The edit to home planet was done because of what it says under 'Historical Background' on the offical SEGA page. http://phantasystaruniverse.com/charworld_race_human.php#race
    • Doesn't that depend on what dictates "home planet"? If I recall correctly from the game itself, the overwhelming majority of Humans live on GUARDIAN's Colony. If so, I'd consider the website to be wrong here. - Miraglyth 09:12, 16 November 2006 (PST)

10% Synth bonus?

I was alerted to this on PSOW, in this thread. The statement appears to have little backing and seems nothing more than a rumour or mistake. Any chance the user who made this edit could explain it? I will point out that adding rumours with no proof is harmful to the wiki as a whole. Mewn 10:52, 1 December 2006 (PST)

The user 204.255.26.191 added to Humans:

  * They do not get Nanoblast or SUV.

and to Newmans:

  * They are able to equip any Armor
  * They do not get Nanoblast or SUV.
