Articles to link

• So, which articles do you think we should link to in the mission infoboxes? I guess the mission type should be one, just in case someone's not too clear on the difference between free and co-op missions. But, do we really want to link to each and every mission counter and field? - EspioKaos 18:30, 12 November 2007 (CST)

    • OK. I'll update the templates I've created to add the link brackets back. I'll also go ahead and templatize the Moatoob and Neudaiz infoboxes to get them ready for use once I have enough time. I just need to finish up one more building estimate at work, and I should be free to mess around with some more stuff here.  ;) And after yesterday's update info at the official site... oh, geez. I think that's everything

• I've changed the element names in the infobox to our new icons. Looks a lot better, I think, plus using the icons removes the (small) chance of the cell being stretched out in the case of a mission with more than two or three elements. (The Duel Sentinel, for example, has neutral, fire, lightning and light enemies.) Other changes I've made include removing special drops from the drop chart (in this case, Rappy Feathers) and I also made the area drops cell link to the appropriate article. Plus, I've used our color templates of Japanese only and unavailable stuff for the mission ranks. These will be updated once we get this mission in a few weeks and then again once the Japanese receive the S2 version of this one. OK, I'm off to the gym for a bit.   • Sweet. I was thinking more along the lines of having just the star itself as opposed to the gray background, too. Since each of these stars has a distinct outline, we wouldn't really have a need for a contrasting background color. If we don't go for that, then I'd at least like to shave a few rows of pixels off of the top of each image so that there isn't so much empty space up there.  ;) - EspioKaos 16:44, 4 November 2007 (CST)

    • I was actually just about to come back to say the exact same thing. XD I tried messing around with completely getting rid of the background, but it didn't turn out pretty at all. Item Drops

• It might be redundant but it would save people a lot of time why look at the monsters on every mission to see what drops. See if the item drops there then figure out what monster it drops on. -- KyTin 21:58, 3 November 2007 (CDT)

• Might be an idea to add an Area Drops row to the table, with the important monster area drops (things like ores and grinder bases don't count.) - here's a list of most of the important area drops, but it's worth pointing out that if more than one monster drops the same thing in addition to their obvious level drops, it's almost certainly a monster area drop:
  • Crea replica boards
  • Crea Doubles
  • Psycho Wand
  • Agito Repca
  • Agito Edge
  • Relic Edge
  • Kubara melee/tech copy boards (AotI areas only, currently)
  • Some special mats, like -pads and -nias.
  • Probably some stuff I forget.
• And just for reference - you will already know this, but monsters can currently only have one level drop in each level range. Anything else is either an area drop (see above), special drop (if the same drop appears on more than one rank, or it's a biomaterial, chances are its a special drop), or crap not worth listing. - Mewn 11:41, 4 November 2007 (CST)

  • Yeah, they must be area drops, looking at the JP dropcharts. All the new AoI areas have them, and at lv100+ they're 10* copies. The ones we know about are listed in the Area drops article. - Mewn 12:07, 4 November 2007 (CST)

• Looks good to me, although I think you should put the 'buff' icons in a seperate column, next to the name. Oh, and use these ones:
