First steps towards a mission template. Mostly the data from this mission gathered from various other pages; spawn patterns, monster counts and drop tables in one handy page. Comments?
- Looks excellent so far. I was planning on getting around to making mission-based drop charts like you've got here, but I haven't had the time. Anyway, only one thing I would suggest at this point. In the info-box on the right, we should probably be more specific with the "area" field, since that really determines the various area drops. - I put "Abandoned Temple" there because that's what the game called it in the mission description. I notice the area drops page calls it "COG Temple". Should we follow the standard set by the Area Drops page? Au+ 21:46, 19 September 2007 (BST)
- Well, you can still include the "Abandoned temple" bit, but we should call it something other than "area" to reduce ambiguity. Anyway, I made that area drops page, and I just cam up with those names off the top of my head. Sure, we could use them, but I think it might be best to open that matter up for discussion first, so we can decide on a standard. I could foresee "COG Temple" being a problem, if in the future there happened to be some temple mission that was clearly not associated with the COG. - Awesome! I was actually planning on getting around to working on this soon(ish), too. In preparation, I began making location image files. (I've got Old Rozenom, Pavilion of Air, Granigs Mine, Paracabana and Oktoku City; all from the expansion.) Alright, if we go ahead with this and copy the rare monster, and mission reward info to here we need to decide what to do with the pages the info comes from. The options as I see it:
1) Remove the previous info (move the info to the individual mission pages)
2) Turn the tables into templates that are included in both pages
3) Change old one to a short summary with link to individual mission pages.
I think the mission reward tables can be moved from the Missions page to here; but I'd like to have a list of all missions that shows what level enemy shows up where.
