The Egg Thieves
The Egg Thieves is a party mission for 2-4 players. The counter is located in the GUARDIANS Branch of Holtes City on Parum.
Rank S
Rank S requires at least 6 minutes remaining and 3 eggs. The number of defeated enemies does not affect rank. Lou's hat does not affect rank.
Maps
Walk through
Before starting, decide who "goes right". Also decide who goes "North", "South", "East", or "West" for block 2.
Block 1
One player goes right to stand on a button, opening the left room.
The other three players go left, ignore the Go Bajilla.
A player with a gun goes straight to the dead end. Shoot the debris on the left then rejoin to the others.
The others enter the left room, and start clearing the room.
The lone player steps off the button, someone inside the left room must use the switch inside to reopen the gate.
The lone player clears their area, then rejoins the others.
After the second Polavohra, turn left on the bridge. Ignore the creatures.
Shoot the debris above the fenced in button. Take the portal to the block 2 entrance.
Block 2
Two players go right. The first portal leads to the South area. To the right of that is a portal to the North area.
Two players go left, and down the stairs. If looking for Lou's hat, look at the spawn.
The first entrance is to the East area. To the left of that is a portal leading to the west area.
Each player clears a different area, backtracks to block 2, and goes southward to The block 3 entrance.
This can also be done in pairs. One pair clears North and South. The other pair clears East and West.
Block 3
Go right and clear the area. Enter the next room together, the gate closes shortly after the first person enters.
The gate can be reopened by backtracking to a switch or clearing the room.
After clear the room, the next three switches are needed to open the block 4 entrance.
Shoot debris to smoother fires, ignore these Grass Assassins.
One player goes right to activate a switch, then rejoins the others.
The other three players go left to a large space with a center switch.
This switch closes off the area and spawns creatures.
Gather together, activate the switch, clear the area.
Activate the last switch, smoother the last fire, ignore the last Grass Assassin. Go to block 4.
Block 4
Clear the area. Last egg completes the trial. Eight boss boxes. Abandon, or use the warp to return Lou's hat.
Administration and Commercial areas
Gainozeros Eggs will be found at the end of two of these four areas by defeating a Gainozeros.
A Gainozeros is found in the North area or South area. A Gainozeros is found in the West area or East area.
The buttons and switches affect the opposite sides.
- The button near the boxes opens the gate to the boxes on the opposite side.
- The switch disables the turrets on the opposite side.
- The four buttons disables the turrets around the Gainozeros on the opposite side.
Lou's hat
Finding Lou's hat is an optional extra goal. The additional reward is one to three Nano-type hard materials.
Entering block 2, go left, and down the stairs. Distova, Badira or Vahras will spawn.
- If Distova, clear the Distovas near the East area entrance.
- If Badira, clear the Badiras near the West area entrance.
- If Vahra, clear the Vahras near the block 3 entrance.
A portal will lead to three boxes and a small blue orb. Touching the orb will prompt a choice. The middle choice, a hat, is the correct choice.
Creatures
- Most creatures are Lightning element. A few Go Bajilla, Distova and Go Vahra are fire.
- Most creatures deal Lightning element damage and may cause shock.
- Grass Assassin can cause stun.
- Bal Soza can cause freeze.
Skippable Enemies
Block 1
- Go Bajillas on the left path to the first room.
- All creatures after the second Polavohra.
Block 2
- All creatures in the residential block, unless collecting Lou's hat.
Block 3
- All Grass Assassins not spawning in locked off rooms.
Hazards
- The laser turrets and fire deal percentage based effect damage.
- Grass Assassins can block narrow paths and push players into fires.
- Laser gates can seperate players.
- Block 2 can lead to players becoming lost.
- Lag or slowdown.
Overhanging debris
The first box contains a Handgun. Shooting overhanging debris will crush laser turrets, weigh down a button, and smother fires.
- All the laser turrets in Block 1 and Block 3 can be crushed.
- The fenced in button in Block 1 can be weighed down, leading to a shortcut.
- All the fires in Block 3 can be smothered.
