Template talk:Future content

Something about using a Japanese flag for this just seems..off. I don't know. Um, if anyone has any other ideas for an icon, that'd be nice.

Though, I've a less serious suggestion for one we could use. ;)

  • The April Fool's pic I can tolerate because that's based on a joke anyway, but something like this really needs to be relevant to the game. Unfortunately all I can think of that would allude to future/foreign content would be some image to do with Gurhal Channel 5 (since the JP adverts for AOTI which most of us saw were in the form of GC5 broadcasts). - Miraglyth 04:09, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
    • Ooh, that's a good idea. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can make a version of this with the GC5 logo to get some opinions on it. Also, on the April Fool's thing, you do know the scene from Spaceballs it's referencing, right? It's from when Lord Helmet tricks Princess Vespa into coming out of Yogurt's hideout by mimicking Vespa's father. When Vespa comes up to who she thinks is her father, he changes back into Lord Helmet who then says, "Haha! Fooled you!" I would've liked to get an image from that particular scene, but I couldn't find one. Besides, I think his face was covered the entire time during that scene and seeing Rick Moranis' goofy face adds to it instead just seeing Lord Helmet's, uh... helmet. - EspioKaos 09:06, 9 April 2008 (CDT)

  • Perfect! I was going to upload a GC5 logo last night since I thought I had a screenshot of it. Turned out I didn't have the logo so much as just screens of different scenes from Hal's newscast at the beginning of Episode 3. <_< But, yeah. Looks great!     • I'm glad everyone likes it. I spent a couple hours rebuilding the logo in Photoshop from a screenshot from the start of Episode 3. I feel warm n fuzzy now. ^-^
