Weapon Name
With the implementation of this new weapon, it has changed name in the english version. It's called a Throwing Blade Should this be corrected?

- Interesting; yeah. Any clue as for the (Grenade) Launchers? - Tycho 01:51, 21 December 2006 (CST)
- They are called Throwing Blades (投刃 Throwing Blade) in the Japanese version as well, I believe. Most of the general terms used for weapon types (Saber, Card, Sword) are not, strictly speaking, used in game (Saber = single-handed blade, Card = throwing blade, Sword = long sword) and are either derived from publications, the name of the basic GRM weapon, or just a general fanterm (Cards, obviously, come from PSO). As such, I personally see nothing wrong with the term. Mewn 11:44, 21 December 2006 (CST)
Card Regina
- There's a reason I translated カードレジーナ as Card Regina. The 7* Card is called Card Fante, Fante being the Italian word for the knave or jack found on playing cards. Regina is the queen. I think it's safe to assume Sega have gone with a playing card theme here, and I'd be willing to bet the 9* Card is called something like カードレ or カードレックス, as Rex is the latin for King and Re is the Italian. - Mewn 09:55, 28 September 2007 (BST)
- Ah, I see! I'll change it back. That's actually pretty interesting. - EspioKaos 12:10, 28 September 2007 (BST)
- Yeah, I only noticed it myself when I (finally) tried to research what Fante meant (been driving me nuts for a while now). I like all these little references and word plays XD - Mewn 12:35, 28 September 2007 (BST)
- It makes me wonder what the 9-star GRM wand might be. They seem to have a German theme going, with priest meaning praised and geist meaning spirit. Shelldote I'm sure has a related meaning, but I haven't been able to find anything out, even when trying multiple spellings. XD - EspioKaos 12:40, 28 September 2007 (BST)
