Twin Tornado correction

Thanks for the correction, Mira. My mistake for messing that up when I redid the tables. EspioKaos 18:51, 17 August 2007 (BST)

Usage table

I've been working on the presentation of the Weapon Proficiencies page lately, and added some icons for ranks taken from the game. It's occurred to me we could use the icons elsewhere. There's two way I see we can do it; with the background colour of the cell, and without. I'm not sure which looks better though, to be honest. So what do we think? Without background:

Type RA FI GT FG AF AT
Rank Icon B.gif Icon A.gif Icon S.gif Icon A.gif Icon A.gif Icon A.gif
G.R.M. 13 13 13 11 11 11
Yohmei 17 17 17 14 14 14
TENORA WORKS 9 9 9 7 7 7

Or with?

Type RA FI GT FG AF AT
Rank Icon B.gif Icon A.gif Icon S.gif Icon A.gif Icon A.gif Icon A.gif
G.R.M. 13 13 13 11 11 11
Yohmei 17 17 17 14 14 14
TENORA WORKS 9 9 9 7 7 7

Or we could leave it just as it is right now. Thoughts? DaWrecka 21:26, 10 April 2008 (CDT)

  • I think it's fine as-is, but if we were to go with one of these styles, I prefer the one with the colored backgrounds to match the proficiency tables. (The icons look great in that, by the way.) - EspioKaos 22:06, 10 April 2008 (CDT)
  • Colored backgrounds. :o - Tycho 05:20, 11 April 2008 (CDT)
  • Coloured backgrounds look nice, so go with them. - Mewn 07:46, 11 April 2008 (CDT)
  • Heh, the exact source of the "rank" cell background colours should be clear now :P - Miraglyth 07:56, 11 April 2008 (CDT)
    • On a related note, the colours need some discussion; On my laptop and on my PC's CRT monitor, the C-rank and X-rank colours look very, very similar. I noticed that the template uses one of the browser-safe colours, but with the similarity it can be a little confusing. I'm not sure if there's another browser-safe colour we can use, but if not, perhaps we should discuss going outside that palette? - DaWrecka 12:55, 13 April 2008 (CDT)
