Rare free missions are special missions that have a chance of appearing at random mission counters following the completion of another mission. Though difficult to find, the rewards of these missions make the search worth the effort.

Search tips

  • When searching for a rare free mission, it is helpful to have a full party of six players. This increases your chances of locating the mission as each player will have an opportunity to find it.
  • Run any mission, on any difficulty you please. The difficulty played will have no effect on your chances of finding a rare mission.
  • After completing a mission and exiting the field to a lobby, the party should disband. Each player should then enter the next counter to see if the rare mission appears for them. Remember that you must enter a counter where normal missions appear. If you go to a counter that has no missions listed, the rare mission will not appear.
  • If you find the rare mission, exit the counter and regroup the party. Whoever found the mission must be the leader. If the mission was not found, regroup and continue the search.
