SUV weapons

SUV Weapons are the Cast racial ability, where a Cast can, apparently, use satellites in order to summon large weapons (mostly guns such as Gatling guns) to deal out significant damage and cause status effects.

Obtaining SUV Weapons

Before you can use SUV Weapons, you must be a Cast of at least Character Level 20.

SUV Weapons come in the form of Extra Units, and must be equipped to be used.

In Network mode, SUV weapons can be obtained in the unit shop on Parum (GRM).

In Extra mode, SUV weapons are obtained from getting a S-rank on certain missions and are not sold at stores.

Offline SUV weapons:

Hegel Buster: Obtained on the Parum mission "Cargo Train Rescue"

Rafal Buster: Obtained on the Parum mission "Endrum Underground"

Blitz Buster: Obtained on the Neudaiz mission "Grove of Fanatics"

Grom Buster and Sturm Buster: Both obtained on the Moatoob mission "Goliath in the Desert"

Remember that you must get a S-Rank on these missions in order to obtain these SUV Weapons.

Using SUV Weapons

When equipped, a gauge below your character name and level will fill up as you take and deal damage, similar to the Photon Blast system in Phantasy Star Online. When full, the gauge will shine and pressing, by default, the Left and Down arrow keys together will then activate the SUV. For PS2 users, hit Square and Triangle.

After a short summoning sequence, the SUV Weapon will appear and begin to fire. The SUVs cannot be controlled and their radius, appearance, power, and effects depend on the SUV Weapon equipped. During the summoning and firing of the SUV Weapons the user is invincible. For a few seconds during the summoning animation, a CAST can fine-tune the direction they and their SUV are facing in, but cannot move afterwards until the SUV has finished firing and disappears. Furthermore, all status effects (both positive and negative) are removed when a CAST activates the SUV Weapon.
