Story mission subplots

A future update will introduce new elements to existing Episode 3 story missions dependent upon the actions and choices made in previous chapters. These branches of the story will be introduced with the release of the fourth chapter, (Separation From Mother). Even if you have completed the previous chapters up to this point, you must go back and replay the first three chapters to activate a subplot through newly added events.

Lou subplot

Requirements

• You must have cleared all Episode 2 story missions.
• EP3 Ch.4-1 and EP3 Ch.4-2 must have been cleared.

Additional events

After the above-mentioned requirements have been met, the following new events will occur by meeting the listed requirements.

• Complete EP3 Ch.1-1 on any difficulty with a grade of S. A new scene in which a malfunctioned Lou unit will be discovered.
• Complete EP3 Ch.4-1 on any difficulty with a grade of S. Before the trial in the second act begins, you will be given a choice to either take Lou with you or not. Take her with you and complete EP3 Ch.4-2 with a grade of S.

Olson subplot

Requirements

• You must have completed the Lou route all the way up to clearing EP3 Ch.4-2 with a grade of S.
• EP3 Ch.5-1 and EP3 Ch.5-2 must have been cleared.

Additional events

After the above-mentioned requirements have been met, the following new events will occur by meeting the listed requirements.

• Complete EP3 Ch.3-2 on any difficulty with a grade of S to initiate a new scene involving a conversation between Ethan and Lumia.
• Clear EP3 Ch.5-2 with a grade of B or better to initiate a new scene after the battle with Howzer in which Olson lives. (The content of this scene changes slightly depending on your grade.)
