Enemy spawn charts

We appreciate your help with transplanting spawn charts to individual articles, however I must ask you to stop for a moment. There is a new style that the existing charts located here must be converted to before they are moved to the new articles. - EspioKaos 11:34, 31 March 2008 (CDT)

  • No, seriously, stop. We're trying to reduce the size of the enemy spawn charts article by converting the existing charts to the new style (linked above) and inserting them in the individual mission articles. By adding the new charts back into Enemy spawn charts, that defeats the purpose of our work. - EspioKaos 11:42, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
    • Sorry I guess my explanations to him weren't precise enough, he did the opposite :/ Essen 11:42, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
      • No problem. Now if only we can get him to stop long enough to see these notices! XD - EspioKaos 11:47, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
        • I told him on the forums but I guess he won't see it lol. Essen 11:49, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
          • He received the message. Anyway I'll repeat here stuff. Please use the Sandbox if you don't know how to use a wiki yet (or a template or how charts work). Look at the The PSUPedia:Manual of style for explanations, and take a look at Special:Recent changes after doing edits, so you can notice your mistakes when people edit after you. Sorry about the Rare mission charts. I didn't notice the messages until after I had done a few. I'll look at the new format and see if I understand the conversions you were referring to. --Luthor 11:57, 31 March 2008 (CDT)

  • No problem, really. Oh, and to make following a conversation easier, continue it in the same page it was started.  ;) - EspioKaos 11:58, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
  • Ok I edited the Plains Overlord page with the new format. Let me know if there are any errors. --Luthor 12:47, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
    • You're getting there.  :D It seems you've got an extra column at the end of the table (caused by excess vertical pipes). Also, where you've got spawn type, that should be changed to reflect the type of spawn that each listed one is. Generally it's initial spawn or second spawn. Also, with the images listed to show the pattern, we'll have to shave that down some to where only one image is shown and a note is included at the bottom of the chart saying something like "block 1 of patterns A and B have the same map, so go by block 2 to determine the spawn pattern." One other thing is the B-X and B-X2 thing. I believe we determined that there is no alternate rare B spawn, so one of those is incorrect. We'll have to look into that, however, to verify the right pattern. I know this is a lot to take in, so please ask away if you have any questions. - EspioKaos 12:57, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
  • The visual issues and nomenclature I can and will fix. As for the alleged multiple rare spawns, I want no part of that debate. I merely copied the info from the current Enemy spawn charts. I probably shouldn't have chose a contentious mission but...

I will also add the RareY and RareN where appropriate. --Luthor 13:12, 31 March 2008 (CDT)

    • The multi-rare thing isn't a big deal. It was sorted out somewhere on the site (I think), so we can track it down and fix it later. - EspioKaos 13:16, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
  • Ok other than the B-x/B-x2 thing and the extra column that I can't seem to get rid of, I have done what I can. I used the rare y rare n where applicable and I removed the extra images and added notes. Having fumbled my way through one, it should be easier to edit others in the future.--Luthor 14:16, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
    • It just takes some getting used to it, is all. The more you work with these charts, the quicker it'll come to you. That extra column seems to be coming from a pipe that looks like it's in the B section somewhere (due to how the green overlaps in only one cell). I'll mess around with it to see if I can find and remove it. And I still need to find that old conversation on the B-X/B-X2 thing. It's got to be around here somewhere. <_< Anyway, your help is greatly appreciated! - EspioKaos 14:22, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
