PA Boost
I find it very unlikely for BKB to have a 25% boost when every other weapon either had a 20% or (rarely) 30% boost. Unless our damage formula on the wiki is wrong/outdate, the damage difference between a 10/10 BKB and 10/10 U-Chain is already barely there (we're talking ~120 damage with the last part of a non-JA lv50 Spiral Dance here, 210 with JA). I'd get some more data but my PAs are pretty damn shit.
Speaking of shit PAs, if it had more than 20%, the formulae on here would definitely be wrong. From my earlier tests, the highest damage I got was exactly what the damage calculator gave me with a 20% PA boost. So, yeah... I just really, really doubt it has more than 20. - Arget 15:27, 19 May 2012 (EDT)
- I am 100% its somewhere beteween 23%-25% it numbers are the same as the Ultimate chain and the chain has alot more atp at 0/10 and 10/10 and it so happens the chain has a 20% so King bars must have more than 20% also you logic is alittle flawed The Double Cannon has a weird % 13% so its not completely out of character
- I wouldn't call 100 ATP "a lot more". And there's still the problem that I never get anywhere near the damage I should get if it has more than 20%. All I get is the 20% boost and that's it. Are you sure you're comparing the damage without any elemental influence? Some actual numbers to compare here would help too. I did forget about that silly stuff on the Cannon though, yes. Doesn't change that I'm not getting anything close to 25% for a boost. - Arget 17:24, 19 May 2012 (EDT)
- Okay, did some more tests with some help. Targets were the SEED-Lab Staff on the left path on A Rank. Used were a 0/10 BKB with Solid/Knight and Shijin as well as a 2/10 U-Chain with a Shijin so we got them to as close to the same ATP as possible. And it turns out, they both hit in the range of 1955 to 2005. Since it has been confirmed multiple times that U-Chain has a 20% boost, that leaves us with pretty solid proof that BKB does so too. Changing back to 20%. - Arget 18:08, 19 May 2012 (EDT)
