Prologue

[She should stay with the doctor]	[She should return and help Lou.]
Laia: That's a good point, there was that incident on Moatoob. The doctor needs a guard. Don't let him down, Lumia. Lumia: No, I won't. Thank you! Tomrain: No, thank YOU.	Laia: Yes, helping Lou run support at Headquarters is a fine job. You do understand how important that role is, don't you? Lumia: Yes... I understand.

• Lumia: But are you sure you'll be able to finish your task?
• Laia: Yeah, I'll take care of it.

Laia turns to [Player].

• Laia: Let's go, [Player].

Laia turns to Curtz.

• Laia: Sorry about that. Now show us the way.

Fade to black.

Trial

• Laia: Hurry up, [Player]!
• Laia: There are still switches left in this block!
• Laia: There's no time! Hurry, [Player]!

Epilogue

[I don't know if I'm ready.]	[So then I passed the test?]
Laia: Don't be so modest. It doesn't suit you. It's not like I made my decision just based on this mission alone. I've watched you since the beginning. I truly believe you can do this, from the bottom of my heart. Perhaps I always planned on making you commander, and Leo and Tonnio refused because they saw right through me.	Laia: Yeah, you did. On this mission I was able to see your real ability. You were especially adept at finishing off that De Ragnus. Well, I'd known this for a while but you've surpassed even my abilities. I'm sure you yourself have realized this, right?

• Laia (shouts): So there's no turning down this post! You ARE the commander, [Player]. I expect even more of you now!
• Curtz: Heh heh... Be a kind leader, [Player].

[Calm down.]	[Don't hold back.]

• Lumia: Okay... *sniffs* [Player], may I ask you something?
• Lumia: I admired my brother, so I joined the GUARDIANS. Then I met many people like you, who I should aspire to be like. I always told myself I'd do my very best. Recently, I'd felt like I could have some more confidence in myself. But... I was completely wrong. I couldn't protect Dr. Tomrain...
• Lumia: I told him... When there was peace, he could be a like a grandfather to me.
• Lumia (shouts): But... But then this happens! He was killed right in front of me, and I couldn't do a thing but watch! If I were better, if I were stronger, he wouldn't have had to die! I'm a horrible Guardian! Dr. Tomrain is dead and it's all because of me!
• Lumia: But... But [Player]... That's not even the worst of it! It's so much worse than that. When I woke up and saw that you'd saved me, even though I'd heard that Dr. Tomrain had died, I only thought of myself. I was only relieved that I was still alive. I hated myself for that, and I vowed to focus that anger on the SEED. But, it's no use, I'm terrified just thinking about facing the SEED.
• Lumia (shouts): I can't imagine facing that danger again!
• Lumia: I've come back alive from some pretty dangerous missions, but it's only because you protected me, [Player]. I'm so stupid. I've only realized that now. I always barge forward but I really didn't know anything about myself. I'm too scared to go to Rykros! What should I do?
• Lumia (shouts): Tell me, [Player]!

[We'll go together.]	[I can go alone.]

• Lumia (shouts): Aren't you scared, [Player]? I mean, we might die there! I'm sure that Helga will show up again. A monster like her, it doesn't matter how many times you defeat her. You can't win! Even you or my brother could die. Wait... no!
• Lumia: I don't want you to die!
• Lumia (shouts): No! I won't accept that!
• Lumia (shouts): No! No! No! No!

[I'll stand by you.]	[We must fight.]

• Lumia (shouts): Oh...
• Lumia: *sniffs* I'm sorry. Please give me some time to think alone!

Lumia runs off. Fade to black.
