(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: You look strong. How'd you like to work for me?
• Ethan: Huh!?
• Emun: Oh. You're a Guardian. Sorry about that. A shame though... Excuse me. I'm Emun Ohka and I run a mining business.
• Ethan: ... I'm Ethan Waber.
• Emun: I'm looking for strong humans to work in my mine. Would you by any chance know of anyone who might be interested?
• Ethan: Sorry. I don't think I can help you.

(Again)

• Emun: I don't go through a middleman or anything. I hire directly.
• Ethan: That's good...

(Extortionist)

• Extortionist: Hey kid, you look pretty strong! You want a job?
• Ethan: Thanks, but I'm a Guardian!
• Extortionist: Pfft... Whatever!

(Again)

• Extortionist: What? I don't have anything to say to a Guardian! If you ever want to quit and earn a bunch of money, then come talk to me!
• Ethan: I won't be doing any such thing! Are you that recruiter that's been extorting money from the workers?
• Extortionist: Give it a rest! Why you gotta yammer on about something like that?

(Again)

• Ethan: I ought to report you to the police!
• Extortionist: Go ahead, no one will listen! This isn't your precious colony!

Chapter 7

(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: Mr. Waber?
• Ethan: Hi there! Ms. Ohka, was it?
• Emun: ...Are you in a rush?
• Ethan: Sort of...

(Again)

• Emun: I don't mean to bother you or anything...
• Ethan: That's okay.

(Extortionist)

• Ethan: Hey, what are you doing?
• Extortionist: What do you want, kid?
• Ethan: Extortion is a crime!
• Extortionist: You don't say!

(Again)

• Ethan: I'm in a hurry today so I'll let you go...
• Extortionist: Yeah, thanks a bunch...

Chapter 8

(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: Mr. Waber?
• Ethan: Hello, Ms. Ohka.
• Emun: Do you have a minute?
• Ethan: Yes. What is it?
• Emun: I'm still looking for people to work in my mine. Have you come across anyone who might be interested?
• Ethan: Sorry, I still don't think I can help you...

(Again)

• Emun: I don't have enough workers and it's become a big problem! If you hear of anybody who'd be good for the job, please let me know.
• Ethan: I will.

(Extortionist)

• Ethan: Hey, I won't let you get away with what you're doing!
• Extortionist: I don't need you to! The world lets it slide! I don't need to listen to you whine!
• Ethan: (This area is completely lawless!)
• Extortionist: If you want to stop me that bad, then kill me! Of course, before that happens you might die, too...
• Ethan: You'd better watch it!

(Again)

• Extortionist: I'll show you some mercy today because I'm going home.
• Ethan: Yeah, for your own good!

Chapter 9

(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: Mr. Waber, do you have a moment?
• Ethan: What is it, Ms. Ohka?
• Emun: Well the truth is, I'm in trouble... There's this annoying recruiter who's been making it really hard for me to get workers. She's horrible! She takes a 90% commission from her workers... so now everyone is afraid to sign up to work in ANY mine, including mine! It's extortion!
• Ethan: Wow, that's a huge cut!
• Emun: That's why I always tell people that I employ directly.

(Again)

• Emun: If that recruiter doesn't quit her horrible ways, this town's economy will plummet!
• Ethan: Is there anything I can do about it?
• Emun: I don't know... just... Do something?

(Extortionist)

• Extortionist: What, you got another problem?
• Ethan: I didn't say anything. You feeling guilty about something you did?
• Extortionist: Of course not!

(Again)

• Extortionist: If I lose face, then someone is gonna have to pay up!
• Ethan: This is going nowhere...

Chapter 10

(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: Grrr! I won't forgive her... I'll tear her up and bury her in the desert!
• Ethan: ...Huh? Ms. Ohka...
• Emun: Oh, Mr. Waber!
• Ethan: You seem awfully upset about something!
• Emun: Huh? No... no, I'm fine...

(Again)

• Ethan: Ms. Ohka, you mustn't resort to violence. Especially not a nanoblast!
• Emun: Y... You think I could...? Hahaha!
• Ethan: (She may look pretty, but she's still a beast!)

(Extortionist)

• Ethan: Hey, you still doing this?
• Extortionist: Get away from me, you freak! You trying to make an enemy out of me? That's why I can't stand you Guardians!
• Ethan: Why won't you listen to what I have to say?
• Extortionist: I'd rather bleed to death than take orders from a Guardian! A long time ago, I trusted someone and put him in charge of my street gangs. But he betrayed me, and up and ran off to join the GUARDIANS...
• Ethan: ...Are you talking about Tonnio?
• Extortionist: Hah... So he's a friend of yours?

(Again)

• Ethan: Tonnio wouldn't betray anyone. Open your eyes! You're old enough to know better...
• Extortionist: Hey! Don't disrespect my age!

Chapter 11

(Emun Ohka)

• Ethan: Ms. Ohka, you look a little downtrodden.
• Emun: Mr. Waber... it's no use... I might as well just throw in the towel!
• Ethan: What's the matter?
• Emun: My mine... the one that was left to me by my father... I've got no choice but to shut it down. I don't have enough workers!
• Ethan: First off, you've got to cheer up, Ms. Ohka. You're in a tough situation, but I know you'll pull through! Even if you shut down the mine, there's more to life than work!

(Again)

• Emun: Your words do make me feel better, Mr. Waber.
• Ethan: I'm glad!

(Extortionist)

• Extortionist: Maybe you should just kill me and get it over with! You'd like that, wouldn't you? If I were dead? Well maybe you should just do it!
• Ethan: You've got a sick sense of humor.
• Extortionist: I'm serious! I'm desperate! If Tonnio hears I'm dead, then maybe he'll regret having betrayed me!
• Ethan: Sounds like you're jealous!
• Extortionist: ...

(Again)

• Ethan: You really want to lead a respectable life, don't you? When you couldn't do that, you blamed it on Tonnio, didn't you? Enough is enough! Quit this middleman nonsense and try working in the mine yourself!
• Extortionist: Shut up!

Chapter 12

(Emun Ohka)

• Emun: Mr. Waber, do you have a second?
• Ethan: What is it, Ms. Ohka?
• Emun: Something unbelievable has happened! That seedy recruiter that was plaguing the mining business has called it quits. She started working for me now, and she brought a lot of other workers with her! I'm keeping her honest, though.
• Ethan: That's great!
• Emun: Did you have anything to do with this?
• Ethan: Me? No, nothing!

(Again)

• Emun: The town's economy is improving! It's a miracle!
• Ethan: I'm so glad to hear it!
• Emun: Thank you, Mr. Waber.

(Extortionist)

• Ethan: Do you get it yet?
• Extortionist: You again! I can't believe Tonnio is hanging out with the likes of you...
• Ethan: Tonnio's a good guy, if only he didn't have that crazy temper...
• Extortionist: He's always been like that.

(Again)

• Extortionist: Tonnio and Liina were like my children, but they abandoned me! What did I do to deserve this?
• Ethan: You can start over, too, you know...
