The purpose of this article is to collect and list the spelling errors and/or inconsistencies in the English version of Phantasy Star Universe.

Location Name Description
Enemy Tengohg All other members of the monster family (Zoalgoug, Onmagoug...) use "goug".
Weapon Ank Bico A reference to the "Pico Hammer" weapon used by the Sega character Amy Rose.
Weapon Assasin Misspelling - is meant to be "Assassin", as shown on the board and mirrored with the Kubara version, Assassic.
Weapon Cugo Mamba Typo, meant to be Cubo Mamba.
Weapon Halp Serafi Probably meant to be Harp Serafi, however the Japanese uses harupu as opposed to the more logical haapu.
Weapon Rod Is actually meant to be Rodoh or Rodou. The GRM equivalent in Ambition of the Illuminus is called Rod.
Weapon Vullseye A mistake in the original Japanese, it should be Bullseye.
Weapon Yasminakov 0002 Inconsistent, refers to the Yasminkov series of weapons from PSO.
Decoration BT Lovers The "BT" is supposed to stand for "Valentine", and thus should probably have been VT.
Decoration Jao The name of the enemy it relates to is "Jaggo", which itself is a (probably intentional) variation of the Chao they have similarities to.
Decoration Relaxing Jao The name of the enemy it relates to is "Jaggo", which itself is a (probably intentional) variation of the Chao they have similarities to.
Item Agtaride Emulates the TECHNIC "Shifta", whose JP name is "Agtal", which matches in the same way Retier, Zodial and Megistar match their item names.
Item Defbaride Emulates the TECHNIC "Deband", whose JP name is "Defbal", which matches in the same way Retier, Zodial and Megistar match their item names.
Description hoton Found in the description for the Halarod, is supposed to be "photon".
Character Name Fulyen Curtz As used in the dialogue of Chapter 15 (Episode 2 Chapter 3). His forename is actually "Fullyen" as stated anywhere else.
