Set bonus testing

  • Dear SonicTeam: Please update the game to show set bonus stats in-game so that we can settle this once and for all. In the meantime, here's a test which was done by Nightwolf114 to confirm that there is some sort of stamina increase when an Ouryu is used with a Shijin.:
If you have 21+ STA you are able to resist lvl 1 megid.

Shijin = 0 STA Female newman Masterforce = 9 base STA Hizeri/Stamina = 10 STA

Total = 19

While doing the test without the Ouryu and I was still getting incapacitated. Within maybe 20 or so hits I was incapacitated 3 times. So the Shijin itself does not give off any STA.

Shijin+Ouryu = 2+ STA Female newman Masterforce = 9 base STA Hizeri/Stamina = 10 STA

Total = 21+

I was never incapacitated when I used the combo. Also while doing the MST test I was never incapacitated. So to equal 21 STA there has to at least be 2.

In my test I did almost exactly what the above user did and I was incapacitated on both tests.

No Ouryu test : Shijin = 0 stamina Female Newman Masterforce = 9 base stamina Red / Stamina= 10 stamina Total stamina=19

I went to Seed Express S2 and by the second megid ball thrown by the Deljaban I died. So that does prove that in fact the Shijin it self does not give off a boost.

Ouryu test : Shijin = 0 stamina Female Newman Masterforce = 9 base stamina Red / Stamina= 10 stamina Ouryu = o stamina

Again, for this test I went to Seed Express S2 and again use Deljaban megid for this test. What I found was that you did die from megid but not as often as without the combo. My guess would be the increased MST is helping prevent that but I can not be certain.

I will not alter the page as it will probably get changed back anyways. --Max B 11:43, 20 May 2011 (EDT)

  • Thanks for your input! MST may play a factor here. If it's high enough to zero out any of the Megids, then those hits would skew the sample data since incap can't activate with zero damage. I've asked Nightwolf about this to see if he remembers. - EspioKaos 13:06, 20 May 2011 (EDT)
