Meseta

Obtaining Meseta

Meseta can be obtained currently in one of four ways.

  • Finding it in Missions - sometimes enemies may drop Meseta, represented by a yellow box.
  • Selling Items, both at normal Shops and Player Shops
  • Completing Missions, Meseta is then rewarded at the end.

Roku17 guide to meseta

What you want to do is make a PM.I made a ranged one and I made alot by selling shotguns and Launchers.I made about 75-325k off of one shigga boma[b] and 300-900k for the shigga bines[b].Thats if they don't fail but the seven star weapons I made all three most of the time and made 1-3 of the nine star weapons I made.

Now before I go on remember this. You will not make most of the weapons you try to synthesize at 1st.Your PM will get better at making them.Trust me on this part.

1st pick the PM you want but I'm only going to tell you how to make a ranged one because thats the easy one to make and brings a good amount of meseta in and its cheap to make compared to the others.

Striking 'This takes alot of meseta to make and brings very little mesete in'

Ranged 'This is the easy PM to make and cheap to make 2'

Technic 'This one takes a good amount of meseta 2 make but brings in the meseta if you sell the weapons at the right price.

Armor 'ONLY MAKE IF YOU WANT SUFFERING AND PAIN'

Now how to make a ranged PM

1st get to about LV 30 or the current most farmed A ranked mission LV req. When you do what stated above start doing A ranked mission and save up your meseta to about 50k and buy traps(Just do this everyday you play).Regular traps give 6 and trap G gives you 12(correct me if I'm wrong please). It should take about a week to get your PM up to production level 100.Oh I forgot to say you can only feed your PM 100 items a day.

Now how to make meseta with you new best friend "I don't recommend starting out making anything above 7*'

1st Check the market of the gun you want to make and sell.If their too many of them out on the market pick another one to sell.(I say if more then six people are selling them pick another one).It takes 3 hours to make a 7*,6 hours to make a 8* and 12 hours to make a 9*.

2nd(this is for the7* [b]) Go buy the [b] of the gun you want to make. They cost 60k in NPC and about 40-55k in player shops.and to get the syn mats it will cost about 5-10k if your lucky. If your unlucky 10-15k.You bring in alot more meseta if all 3 come out(most of the time they do).

3rd Sell 7* guns at 75k,8* guns at 130-150k and 9* guns at 300-350k.If you put grinds on them here is the price they should sell for. 7* with 5 grinds 100-150k no more then 8* ungrinded if its not better. 8* with 5 grinds 250-350k no more then 9* ungrinded if its not better. 9* with 5 grinds The current going rate.

Uses of Meseta

Meseta is currently used to buy items from shops (both run by the server and other players). Possible other uses of Meseta may be released in the future. Meseta appears to be more useful than in Phantasy Star Online, however, and it is possible that it will be a viable trading currency, although other currencies (an equivalent of the Photon Drops in PSO, perhaps) might appear as well. It also appears to be found much less than in PSO.

Limits on Meseta

The carrying limits on Meseta, both on your person and in your Partner Machinery's storage are expected to be 99,999,999, based on the maximum prices in player shops in the Beta.

Item Meseta values

Items that can be bought and sold to NPCs for Meseta, have Meseta values associated with them. These values seem to depend on both the item type and the star rarity value. Items can be sold to NPCs for 5~50% of their actual value, depending on their item type. For instance, a two star weapon purchased from an NPC store for 800 meseta can be sold back to the store for 120, and a 2000 meseta weapon yields 300 from the NPC buyers. The rate at which they can be resold is called the selling rate. This does not apply to starting equipment, which can only be sold for 4-5 Meseta a piece. As for prices in player shops, in most cases it would be wise for the sellers to price items higher than they can sell to the NPCs for, yet lower than the rate players can buy from NPC stores at. The two sided positive benefit should encourage use of the store system by both buyers and sellers. The relatively small amounts offered by NPC stores likely encourages use of the store system, as well.
