Description

Damage is the white number that is displayed when you attack an opponent, or the red number that is displayed when an opponent or trap attacks you.

Ways to do damage

  • You can do damage with weapons and linked photon arts.
  • There is a complex formula that determines for how much damage you (can) hit your opponent. That formula can be found here.

Ways recieve damage

  • You can get damage by a monster that attacks you (with it's claws, mouth, etc...)
  • You can also get damaged by traps
  • The formula for this can be found here.

Ways to increase damage

  • If you want to increase your damage you can upgrade your weapons, buy units, etc.
  • Another way to deal more damage is to level up your general level or your skill type level.
  • Buffs can also be used to increase damage (more specificly, temporarily increase TP and/or ATP.
  • Critical hits will also increase your damage for one hit (or hit sequence).

Ways to decrease damage

  • If you want to obtain less damage from monsters you can buy better line shields, units, etc.
  • Another way to recieve less damage is to level up your general level or your skill type level.
  • Buffs can also be used to decrease the damage taken.
  • Certain Nanoblasts can also decrease or completely ignore damage. This is only for a short period of time however.
