'''Bil De Vears''' are massive bipedal monsters with a horned head resembling that of a triceratops. They are extremely powerful enemies often found on Moatoob. They are a homage to the ''Hildebear'' from ''Phantasy Star Online'', both in name and in their ability to jump large distances.
Bil De Vear is a large triceratops humanoid. Bil is found in Moatoob and only in the missions [[System Defense]], [[Desert Terror]] and [[Tunnel Recapture]]. It has two punching attacks, a regular one which causes [[Zalure]] and a lunging high power punch that has a charge up period.  It can jump large distances and inflict damage to anyone it lands near, inflicting stun.  The Bil De Vear is also capable of performing a belly flop may stun anyone struck by it.  It also has a particularly devastating spinning attack which is capable of delivering a barrage of damage to anyone caught in the area of effect, inflicting grievious damage in a short period of time.  It takes half damage from ranged attacks excluding technics.
 
  
The Bil De Vear is completely devoid of any ranged threat. It is entirely possible to to get it caught on various parts of terrain where it will continue to repeat its jumping maneuver to little effect. At this point, the player may defeat the creature via ranged assault with little or no threat.
