PSP:Freeze

Description

This status effect encases the target in a block of ice, preventing the target from doing anything while frozen.

While frozen, targets can take no action in the field. For PCs, this means you can't move, you can't access your palette, you can't use your weapons, your RCSM won't even attack. You may change your camera view while frozen, and you may also press Start to access the menus. Through the Start menu, you may change your palette's contents (though if you change your equipped item, you still need to refresh it after thawing by pressing Circle in order to equip the new item), however you cannot use items (unless you had that item's menu open when you were frozen).

Details

The status effect level makes no overt difference in the effect. It may be as vague as increasing the chance to freeze.
