Maximum Attack X is an upcoming event for the Japanese PC/PS2 servers set to run from April 22, 2010, through May 20, 2010. During a joint RELICS investigation by the Inhert Corporation and the GUARDIANS, an unusual device left behind by the ancient civilization was discovered. Known as "Arc," this device is a self-evolving program which adapts based on information that is entered into it. It has since been discovered that the ancients used the device to simulate the idea of Gurhal being overrun by SEED. Having witnessed firsthand the suffering of Gurhal from the SEED, the GUARDIANS have decided to launch an operation to collect information for the Arc, in hopes of leading to a brighter future for Gurhal.
