- Thanks for your help and everything. I appresiacte it. - User:Blitzkreig March 28
- Just copy-pasting your reply to this to keep the conversation in one place for ease in reading. ;) I'll give you a few tips to get you started on using a wiki. First of all, on talk pages like this, you can sign your name by typing four tildes (
~~~~
) after your comments. When you save your changes, this will automatically convert into your signature with a time stamp. Makes it a lot easier than typing out your name and everything each time. Second, make sure to use the preview button. This will allow you to go over your changes before saving your work. It also saves a lot of space on the recent changes log cutting down on the number of edits that show up there. After you've previewed and are happy with your work, then hit the save button. Anyway, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. - EspioKaos 20:22, 28 March 2008 (CDT)- Lol. Okay. Thank you so much. I'm sorry for asking so many questions. I get really confused. Are other people aloud to edit MY userpage? Like what if they end up changing my information for my character on PSU? Blitzkreig 20:25, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
- Technically others can edit your user page, but they're not supposed to. It's kind of an unwritten rule that only the owner of a user page can edit it. (Well, unless the owner gives permission to someone to edit it.) However, in the rare event that another user maliciously edits someone's user page, the offender will be banned permanently. - EspioKaos 20:35, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
- Okay. Well I'll tell you if I need any more help. Thanks ALOT for everything. I'm just gonna get back to my page. Thanks again!Blitzkreig 20:36, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
- Egad. Please preview your edits and combine them all into one big edit. 21 edits to the same page within an hour is unheard of, I think you might have made the record. But really, try to combine all 21 into one large edit next time, as it fills up the recent changes page and makes staff suspect possible spam/vandalism. Please. --Qwerty 20:51, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
- I am SOOOO sorry. I am new and trying to get a hang of this. I am VERY sorry. But on the plus side, I might have made a new record. ; ) SORRY Blitzkreig 20:53, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
- Nah, don't worry about. I understand how confusing this stuff can be for someone who has never used a wiki before. As long as you're making an effort to figure things out, I'm fine with that. If you have questions on how to do other stuff, just ask Espio or myself. --Qwerty 20:58, 28 March 2008 (CDT)
