Prologue

[Bring Lumia] [Don't bring Lumia]
  • Maya: Are you serious? Well, you're doing me the favor... If you say we should, then I guess we will.
  • Maya: I guess we don't have a choice. Just this once.
  • Lumia: What!? Really?
  • Maya: You're just coming along with us. Remember, you haven't finished your training. You're not ready to participate in any missions.
  • Lumia: Thank you too, [Player]!
  • Maya: But if we leave her she's going to go off on her own.
  • Maya: I guess we don't have a choice. Just this once.
  • Lumia: What!? Really?
  • Maya: You're just coming along with us. Remember, you haven't finished your training. You're not ready to participate in any missions.
  • Maya: I'm sorry. Can you put up with this just this once?
  • Maya: Please, Mina. This could cause some problems later, but... Would you just look the other way?
  • Mina: I will. There's no internal supervision right now, anyway.
  • Maya: I guess you're right. Let's go then, Lumia.

Trial

Epilogue

  • CAST: You must... Run!

Maya and [Player] start to run.

  • CAST (shouts): What are you saying!? Hurry... Run!
  • Maya: I'm sorry! Let's go! We can't let ourselves be stopped here.

Maya and [Player] start to run.

Lumia hesitates.

  • Maya: Lumia!
  • Lumia: But...!
  • CAST collapses.
  • CAST: ...
  • Maya (shouts): Hurry!
  • Lumia: O-okay!

Lumia runs. Crowd gives chase. Fade to black. Fade in. Maya, Lumia and [Player] have escaped.

  • Maya: *pant* *pant* It looks like we're clear. They're not chasing us anymore.
  • Lumia: How did things get like this? Everyone hates the GUARDIANS now... I joined the GUARDIANS because I wanted to bring back peace to the world. I...
  • Maya: Lumia... Words won't do anything to restore the world's faith in us. That's why we're here to find Laia.
  • Lumia: ...
  • Maya: I guess it's too late now, but... This is why I didn't want you to come.
  • Lumia: I understand. I... won't cry!
  • Maya: That's brave of you, Lumia.
  • Lumia: But if things are that bad, then Laia must be facing the same thing.
  • Maya: ...

  • Maya (shouts): We have to operate under the assumption that she is, Lumia.
  • Lumia: Yes... Right...
  • Maya: After a rest we'll head to the next refugee camp.
