The BlueOrb PSU Texter is a Sega-approved accessory which allows players to input text by manipulating the controller joysticks, rather than by using the on-screen keyboard, or a USB keyboard.
Versions of the Texter were released for both the PS2 and the Xbox 360. Each version comes in a commemorative tin, along with stickers, a poster, a card which is redeemable online for a T-shirt, and an instructional DVD.
A promotional video was made for the Texter, although fan response was largely negative.
