Grinded?
Not to be nit-picky but wouldn't the word "ground" be a little more normal sounding than "grinded"? - Propagandist 14:37, 31 December 2007 (CST)
- I've kind of always been curious about SEGA's stance on the proper past tense of weapon grinding; I don't think it's ever addressed in-game. But as far as the article goes, I'm more partial to "ground." - EspioKaos 15:25, 31 December 2007 (CST)
- The grammer of it always bothered me too. But referring to a weapon as 'grinded' implies that it has survived several grinds, whereas referring to it as 'ground' might mislead the reader into thinking it's a weapon with Ground element. In this article it's obvious which we mean, but it's perhaps less so in other parts of the site, and in the game I came across this fact many many times before switching to 'grinded' as the preferred psuedo-verb. It is also the sole reason why I chose to use 'grinded' here. >.> I'll see if I can edit the article to be both clear and grammatically correct. Spirit 19:34, 31 December 2007 (CST)
