* Big myth indeed. Rumours abound on both servers, most of them are nonsense. The idea of S-Rank weapons being sold in shops has been floating around for a while. There's nothing to back it up. - Mewn 12:21, 4 November 2007 (CST)

* And here I was thinking that the PC/PS2 servers wouldn't have as much of a rumor issue with no voice chat, I swear this game is the greatest rumor mill the world has ever seen. -- KyTin 03:58, 6 November 2007 (CST)

* PC/PS2 doesn't generally have as many rumours going around, but they're still there. It's true that generally whenever I see a topic or post or whatever which starts with 'I've heard about...' or something similar, it's a 360 player. Blame your (likely) younger userbase and demo servers. It's much like scammers, they're on both servers, but scam stories often come from the 360. - Mewn 11:45, 6 November 2007 (CST)

** Reminds me of a time a few months ago when I tried to stop someone from spreading false information at the Colony to others in the lobby.  They were going on about how "omgz rofl ACroGUnnERZ r n expanshun!!1" and some such shit.  It was a complete waste of my time, however.  XD - EspioKaos 11:52, 6 November 2007 (CST)

* Younger yeah we have more younger people that buy into rumors more often then not.. But I like to blame it more on the about of immature peoples (aka: all the halo gamers) we have on the server and the people that make characters with JP named (JP Symbols) saying they play the JP version, mostly the halonites though lol. The scamming is a issue with the trade system though sadly on our version when you hit confirm on the trade screen it covers up the items in trade on standard tvs so if someone changes say a Crimson with a Saber fast enough the icon never changes and that all you can see while you have confirm selected.. -- KyTin 15:08, 6 November 2007 (CST)

  • Hey EspioKaos I noticed that the mission we are using in the first mission page template is AotI, are you playing on the JP server? I just have one question that could greatly effect a lot of my friends if you would mind answering it : ) if you are playing on those servers. -- KyTin 12:10, 4 November 2007 (CST)
    • Nah, I'm only on the English servers. But, still I might be able to answer your question. ;) - EspioKaos 12:13, 4 November 2007 (CST)
  • I don't believe Espio plays on the JP server, although he's very active in translating information from Japanese sources for the English-speaking community. I have dabbled in the JP server, so I might be able to answer your question. - Mewn 12:12, 4 November 2007 (CST)
  • Big myth going around on the 360 server is that 10* S rank boards will be sold in the npc shops when or shortly after AotI comes out. We cannot see these being sold for more then 500k-1million. They are now sold for 3 million plus so if they are being sold in AotI we would like to know so we
    • 1. Don't buy them now.
    • 2. Sell the ones we are finding in the event and buyt them cheaper from npc.

  • Just as you said, it's a myth. No truth to it at all.  ;) - EspioKaos 12:18, 4 November 2007 (CST)
  • Good to know now to stop them before they set them selfs up for tears later on. -- KyTin 12:19, 4 November 2007 (CST)
