Plasma balls are items that, when used in certain combinations, allow access to different bosses in the Winter Mission Carnival mission Charged Puzzle. There are two types of plasma balls: hearts and roses. Hearts are identified with letters (A-H) while roses use numbers (1-4).
Hearts
- A - Shock Shot: Shoot the button on the wall and this plasma ball will appear.
- A (alternate) - Mirror Blast: Clearly visible to the left after taking the left fork of the path past the first Kagajibari.
- B - Ice Blast: When walking through the curved hallways after the first warp, walk through the wall which would have forced you to turn left..
- B (alternate) - Flame Blast: This one is located under a set of stairs which lead up to a balcony.
- C - Quake Blast: This plasma ball is located in the back corner of the final room.
- C (alternate) - Shock Blade: After the first locked gate, shoot the button on the lower wall to your left.
- D - Shock Staff: In the final room, walk through a fake wall.
- E - Mirror Blast: Clear the initial spawn, then walk through the separation wall that leads west.
- F - Shock Staff: Clear the final room of all enemies.
- F (alternate) - Shock Blade: After entering, turn left towards the lone Grass Assassin spawn. Kill it, and the ball appears behind it.
- G - Shock Shot: Continue down the first hallway and make a left at the end.
- G (alternate) - Shock Blade: Clear the final area with the Grass Assassin spawns.
- H - Shock Blade: Behind a fake wall, next to two buttons and a warp.
Roses
- 1 - Quake Blast: After the first room, descend the stairs and turn right.
- 1 (alternate) - Shock Staff: Destroy the Zonde trap on the right in the room with the second Jarba spawn.
- 1 (alternate) - Mirror Blast: Continue forward instead of going left after the first Kagajibari; The fence is opened after it is defeated.
- 2 - Flame Blast:
- GUARDIANS Chronicle 2 ver.: At the end of the stage, after all enemies have been defeated, walk through the fake wall behind the teleporter.
- Winter Mission Carnival ver.: At the beginning of this stage, walk through the fake wall to your right.
- 3 - Flame Blast: Shoot the trap suspended in mid-air above the final room.
- 3 (alternate) - Mirror Blast: Clear the final room.
- 4 - Ice Blast: Defeat all of the enemies in the final room.
