Talk:BR Disc 2

Quick question

You may have noticed in Yokus' trade window this item is called BR DISC 02 or something like that. When you traded for it, did the actual item appear in all caps like that in your inventory or as BR Disc 2 like we've got it here? I would've found out for myself, but I'm still really short on Note Seeds. D: (I'm just going to have to spam De Rol Le or Mama Brain all night soon. Now I need 34 more Seeds to get this mission's four music discs.) - EspioKaos 08:57, 22 February 2008 (CST)

• Yeah, it was in all caps. My mistake. I moved both pages and tweaked The Collector page accordingly.

• It looks like they've changed the item name recently. I just got BR Disc 1 from The Collector, and even though the item name appeared in all caps in the "received BR DISC 1" message when Yokus handed it to me, when I checked my inventory, the item appeared as BR Disc 1 instead of BR DISC 1. How odd that they'd sneak that in on us. XD - EspioKaos 20:16, 7 March 2008 (CST)

Audio sample

I've an audio sample in OGG format, but the wiki wont let me upload it. Guess I missed the conversation about removing that..and we may want to edit the upload page to remove the ogg format example if we plan on keeping OGG files off the site permanently. ^-^;

• Yeah, we ran into this before. I'm not sure if anyone's looked into enabling audio uploads, but I know that I don't have the ability to do so. I'm guessing that's reserved for the folks higher than a SysOp. Anyway, I think for the time being Sekani is hosting audio files for our disc pages to get around this. - EspioKaos 11:04, 22 February 2008 (CST)

  • I guess I could change the localsettings file to allow for .ogg/.mp3. I looked up how to do it a while back, but I'm reluctant to mess with the code unless we really need to. Far as I know, anyone with FTP access can change that type of thing, Espio, though I don't know if you were ever given the FTP details. --Qwerty 16:10, 22 February 2008 (CST)
