January 26, 2012

Operation Urban Defense

  • The remaining panel rewards earned during Operation Urban Defense have been issued! The following rewards will be available until maintenance begins on February 16, 2012.
    • Megaholy fortune for all races
    • Weapon and line shield synthesis success rates +20%
    • Weapon grinding success rates +10%
    • Daily stamp allowance tripled
  • Special tickets have also been issued via common box to all eligible event participants (anyone who cleared an event mission run with a participation rate of 80% or more). These tickets (three in all) can be used to trade for their respective weapon at Reward Trading Post.
    • Blaster Ticket x1
    • Balmura Ticket x1
    • Diaddo Ticket x1
      • These tickets must be collected from your common box by 12:59:59p.m. JST on March 31, 2012, or they will disappear.
      • If you met the participation requirements with a character on both entrances, tickets will be issued to each entrance's common box.
      • The weapons obtained by trading in these tickets are all S-grade, however two of those weapons can be traded in for an equivalent A-grade version. The models for each weapon are identical, but the stats for the A-grade version are lower. The weapon downgrade process is permanent, so make your decision wisely!

Online Game Popularity Ranking 2011

  • The third part of the rewards earned for Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus coming in 3rd place in Gpara.com's Online Game Popularity Ranking 2011 have been distributed. Check your common box for the following item.
    • Drop Rate +100% x1
      • This item must be collected from your common box before maintenance begins on February 9, 2012, otherwise it will disappear.
      • This reward is limited to one per entrance.

  • Rising Malice C-S3 (Transfer Terminal to Aurorey Viewing Plaza area) has been added.
  • Fantastic Voyage C-S3 (Falz Memoria to Nanotrance Vortex) has been added.

  • Operation Urban Defense has ended with a grand total of 58,233,624 monster kills, unlocking all reward panels! The first wave of rewards (available through January 26, 2012) includes the following:

New Year Special Week

  • From now until maintenance begins on January 26, the following mission will featured boosted EXP payout and drop rates as part of the New Year Special Week.

Seasonal lobbies

  • Winter decorations will be up in Clyez and Holtes Cities through February 9.

    • Choutou Kantsu-jin:
      1. PP consumption increased.
    • Chikki Kyoren-jin:
      1. PP consumption increased.
    • Retsuzan Souhi-jin:
      1. PP consumption increased.
    • Rekku Chouhi-jin:
      1. PP consumption increased at LV11 and above.
    • All elemental crossbow bullets:
      1. Number of bullets fired at LV31-40 and LV41-50 increased.
    • All elemental card bullets:
      1. Number of bullets fired at LV31 and above increased.
      2. Always hits effect added to LV41-50.
    • All longbow bullets:
      1. Delay between shots fired decreased (including when no bullet is linked).
    • All laser cannon bullets:
      1. Delay between shots fired decreased (including when no bullet is linked).
