Upon enlisting with the GUARDIANS you were given a personal living space located in the GUARDIANS Barracks. You can go to your room to change clothes, access your [[Partner machines (Episode 1)|partner machine]] functions, look at the vision phone and save your game. You can also customize your room by placing room decorations.

== Partner machine ==
When a new Guardian receives their room, a base model [[Partner machines (Episode 1)|partner machine]] will be waiting there for them. A vital part of any Guardian's life, a partner machine allows players to store extra items as well as synthesize new weapons, line shields and consumable goods. Players can also feed their partner machine to make it evolve, thus increasing its proficiency at synthesizing certain items, and ultimately transforming it into a humanoid form which can accompany them in battle.

== Vision phone ==

The vision phone allows you to read information sent by the GUARDIANS HQ. It will get updated both in Story and Extra Mode after completing each chapters. In Extra Mode, you can also read messages from various characters of the story.

== Dressing room ==
The dressing room is where players are able to change into different clothes or parts whenever the desire for a new look comes about. Remember that the outfit you'd like to change into must be in your personal inventory when you step into the dressing room. You will not have access to clothing or parts stored in your partner machine or common box while in the dressing room.

== Save marker ==
There is a [[Save Marker]] available in your room for when you need to save your game.

== Room customization ==
You can customize your room by placing up to three room decorations in it.
