When this happens, you will be forced to watch a cutscene at the beginning of the run, but she won't talk at all during the mission.  After completing the trial, if you choose to abort instead of using the crystal to return to the lab, subsequent runs of the mission will not be interrupted by Vivienne's questions.  However, keep in mind that you will be forced to watch the opening cutscene each time you play the mission until the ending sequence is viewed.
