Asking for suggestion
Would you prefer I translate all missions over from The Japanese wiki? I heard lots of people were having problems getting them to work so I thought maybe it would be better if people add the data themselves for it...

But it doesn't look like it is being done, so should I translate the rest over or just make empty sections for people to add? Fiethron 21:37, 7 January 2007 (CST)

*The more information, the better. So I think a translation would be helpful Kitomi 06:08, 8 January 2007 (CST)

"Train track room"?
Can someone please clarify for me which room this phrase refers to? Is it the dead end room where the Key drops, or is it the room before that, with the platform with the barrels on it? I'm referring to the C-X spawn set, by the way.212.32.77.163 13:34, 14 December 2006 (PST)

Train track room is the room where the key is. The other map which just has train tracks is the actual track part. So for C-X, it is the small room. Fiethron 06:39, 15 December 2006 (PST)
* Do you mean the room with the small path down onto the tracks or the T-junction's right side where it has around 3 sets of mobs spawn, which overlooks the train tracks? --JubeiSaotome 06:43, 15 December 2006 (PST)
Amure?
Unsafe Passage B-X
*All right, I've been running B in Unsafe passage, and am getting the B-1/X variant. Anyhow, just had a question on the block one spawn set. Are we sure that after the three Pannons that there are SIX pannons in the second set? Here's what I mean: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4640061 I've seen five pannon spawn there multiple times. If that's not the right spawn, disregard this post. ;3 Fence! 21:16, 29 January 2007 (CST)

*So you're saying tha The B-X is noticable now compaired to B-1? Rydia 06:00, 27 March 2007 (BST) I just did B run and the monsters are the same as B-x, so this info was incorrect (yet again).Rydia 06:28, 27 March 2007 (BST)
** The point is that both listed "further in" (now "second room") as Pannon x6, while they are both really Pannon x5. I really, really think we need separate articles for the rare spawns of each mission. It would help keep the discussion more organized, and would allow for more space to better explain the intricacies of each rare pattern, consequently reducing silly errors and misunderstandings such as this. --Qwerty 06:44, 27 March 2007 (BST)
Jaggo Hunting
*Here it is folks...<br>C1 and CX are identical up until a particular sequence in Block 2.<br>First get to block 2 with the Vanda 3-2-2 sequence. (if you get the 3-3-1 sequence you will not find the jao)<br>The difference isn't until you pass the gate.<br>Pass the gate, go down the hill and kill the 2 Kog Nodds.<br>4 Vanda's will now spawn<br>THIS IS WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS<br>Two different things can happen...

::Number 1: Once all 4 Vandas (withOUT shield and sword icons) are killed one more Vanda will spawn, then lapuchas. No Jao's will spawn in this map.

::Number 2: Once a single Vanda is killed, more Vanda's will spawn, then more.(i'm not sure of the number because it's been so few times I've found it (only 4)) Once all the Vandas are killed, the jao's will spawn.

:Im not sure if those 4 Vandas have the sword and shield icons when the jao's spawn, I'll have to re-post after the next time I find the jao. I wasn't paying attention the first 4 times I found them (probably because I was excited)

:I hope this helps. PS. I do have one relaxing jao in my room ;)--Ren 14:05, 4 January 2007 (CST)

*This is also true with B1 and BX. These two are also identical until the second room in block two.

:I started hunting for jaggos again since the jaggo amure came out and I have to say that, at least since friday, the second block with a spawn of 3-3-1 is right. I saw the jaggos quite a few times since friday, twice a day to be exact, and all of these were with the 3-3-1 spawn. I am 100% sure of this since, I am level 71, I do that on C rank, I use a spear with dus robaddo to kill the first 3, it kills all 3 at once, and 3 more spawn right after, then one more.

:Do not neglect the infos post by Ren above me though, since this is also a requirement.

:Since there seams to always be a problem with the second block, I would personally suggest getting the first block right and once you have that, go to the end, no matter what. I always do this and saw quite a few jaggo even before the jaggo amure.

:I hope this help those who are looking for jaggo amure ^_^ --Shadow black Hedgehog 3:21 AM eastern, 12 March 2007

*On which map variation was this? C? I did VoC a few times today and noticed that the A-1 and B-1 Block 2 spawns were incorrect for the first set of Vandas (The chart now shows the correct spawns). They were both 3-3-1, with no Jaggos. I'm going to assume that means it's the 3-2-2 spawn that determines if it is a rare variation or not for A and B. ==== Sleeping Warriors ====

What is the pattern to A-x? Nothing is listed. [edited 1/2/07]. When we get B-x or C-x we have no problems until the 3 Badira when you go down the stairs on 2nd block. I'm still unable to confirm those myself.

* Been trying as hard as I can to figure it out, have had no luck with getting A-X. Haven't even been able to confirm the info I got on B-X and C-X. :x --Cerria 03:15, 1 January 2007 (CST)

I'm not sure about C-X but B-X worked for me, took about 3 hours of hunting but i finally encountered rappies and orgdus once... yes the majority of the time the badira x3 at the bottom of the steps was what went wrong with the runs but it is possible. I'm not sure if the luck of leader has to do anything with it, the leader in my party had 3 luck at the time but that culd just be a coincidence. I have yet to find C-X, i always get a polyvohra at bottom of steps instead of 3 badira, but that doesn't mean the chart is wrong, it just means you gotta keep trying. I'm too am trying to figure out the spawns for A-X, i just try and keep a mental note of spawns and if i run into ogdus i'll write it down and post them on here.

i updated A-x but the second room info is missing. i am also not sure if the first room spawns are the only possibility. but rappies did spawn when the polvora was down the stairs, that part is certain.
One of the rare patterns for Mad Creatures
I posted a thread about it over on PSO-World, but being on 360, I can't exactly take pictures. I'd really appreciate if one of you PC guys (or girls) would be able to take some pictures and/or add it to the list. Anyway, here's my post:

It's the one where you go forward and there's that natural ramp (and 2 haystacks off to the right of it), and the first spawn is 2 Poltys (Polties?), then 3 of them which gives you a key to open the gate, then Vahras when you go down the next natural ramp.

Block 2...sorry I don't remember the first spawn, I think it was Poltys, but anyway...it's the block where if you go straight, there's a cave where you can take a left or go straight to get items. In there, 4 Distovas spawn. If you take a left in that cave, go up back onto the ground, and there's your Rappy spawn! 4 of them.

I'm sorry if it's confusing, and I really would try to get pictures of the blocks, but I'm on 360 and much too lazy to take a picture with a digital camera or something.

Hope that helps people. Umberger 21:09, 3 January 2007 (CST)
Pattern C Polties first spawn for block 1 and 2, in the cave it is 4 koltova not Distova. Fiethron 21:35, 7 January 2007 (CST)

So then are you saying that for Pattern C-x you have to get 2 polties on first block, 3 polties on second, followed by 4 Kovoltas inside the cave for the rare board?

Yes the patter for C-X is poltys in block 1, then poltys in block 2 followed by 4 Koltovas inside the cave, the table now shows this.

Somebody has placed an INCORRECT layout for Mad Creatures as being C-X2. This layout is WRONG. It is the Distova x4 inside the cave that makes it the wrong board. You want Koltova x4 inside the cave. I would edit it, but I don't want to mess up the layout.

*Im pretty sure i got the C-x map one time as distova, but they do look similar so my memory could decieve me. My question is are there ever 2 rare map possibilites for one map. The FFF map has 2 marked also, is that possible? Loki 22:16, 1, April 2007 (CST)
* I managed to fix the damages caused even tho im not very wiki knowledgable, i also went ahead and changed C-X back to Distova. Unless others can confirm the koltova spawn, all evidence seems to suggest it cannot happen. Also the person bitching about the C-X2 map should not be on a wiki page, because that is not information. If they wish to complain it should be moved to discussion. Loki 11:49, 8, April 2007 (CST)
* I will (try to) change it back to the pattern including both CX and CX-2 until we get to know somehow if there is or is not a rare map including Koltovas. Keep reloading untill you git the layout where you start behind a door with the crystal. If you get Bamaltas in the first room you're good so far... On block two run accross the bridge. If Buggy's appear START OVER, If you're lucky enough there will be Seekers and special opps on the other side of the bridge. If there is you have the rare layout. After that point you will notice RED bugs that drop florecent bulb boards, and the bosses will also be RED Grinna Beta S. I've gotten this layout a couple times but no drops (other than crappy 2* sniper) so far..
Does anybody have any correct layouts for any of the missions on Neudaiz?
I found Rappies on Mizuraki Defense on the route without monsters/boxes. You turn and go through a door and another door before fighting monsters. On this route there were 4 Rappies at the end. I believe the Olgohmans were the first spawn of Block 1. I did not concentrate enough to capture Block 2 or 3.
Valley of Carnage C-X Confirmed
I returned to Valley of Carnage two nights ago and finally got Jaggos. C-1 and C-X as far as I could tell were completely identical, for EVERY enemy spawn. I had already written out the exact spawn of C-1, and when I get C-X the only way I knew was when I got to the end of block 2. After the 2x Kog Nadd, the 4x Vanda spawn. If you kill one and more show, you got Jaggo's. This was already written earlier in the discussion, but I wanted to confirm that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to know if you have Jaggo's until then. I even tried watch formations, but they're always the same. Shadow Hado

Just a small note. When the Jaggo's will appear.. there are actually 5 Vandas that spawn after the 2 Kog Nadds in the second room in block 2, not 4 Vandas. So, if you see 5, your good to go.. if only 4.. you wont see them.--Ren 18:06, 9 April 2007 (BST)
I've also found the spawn set for them for Dark Satellite and the following mission ((Total brainfart...)) and was wondering if there was a spawn group in the middle of one of the blocks that triggered one of the Deljabans to drop the Black Heart? There are rumors about how if one of the blocks has seven total monsters in each room, you get a Black Heart drop. BUT, seeing as how it's a rumor, I've come here for proof. My character names are Ragnarok Knight, Caboose, and Skeith.Ragnarok Knight 02:31, 20 April 2007 (BST)
* SEED-Venas is a rather special monster, at least for the time being. It appears only in the new online story mission (2-8: Flash of Ruin), where it chases you from room to room and cannot be injured. Its attack pattern is identical to that of SEED-Magashi, a boss of the offline story. * Also I would be up for working out the whole earliest-possible-rare-run-determining thing but it would have to be sometime after firebreak, preferably during summer break, if it's not already done by then. 12 21:34, 30 April 2007 (BST)

**It appears that others agree with me and they have seen distova with the rare map too, perhaps someone should re-add the already removed C-X2 version of the map. http://pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=139117&forum=22&10Loki 1:57, 6, April 2007 (CST)
** I checked outthe edits made and it was indeed mixboy. this person also changed the seed awakend map to say C best insteed of C-X. This user should be talked to certainly and booted if this continues. Loki 11:39, 8, April 2007 (CST)
* FengShui1983 just changed it back to koltova with out commenting on its confirmatio. I can tell everyone without a doubt that rappies do happen with distova, I repeat I cannot confirm the koltova, can anyone help on this before changing it needlessly?

* I will (try to) change it back to the pattern including both CX and CX-2 until we get to know somehow if there is or is not a rare map including Koltovas. I hope this will prevent peoples from messing with the map, and with our poor distovas D: Kelvie 21:36, 10, April 2007 (GMT+1)
I know the following, but I'm not apt in how to edit it in the main area, so if someone sees this and could start it for me I'd appreciate it.

I don't think there are different versions of the map for Train, so A-1 would refer to the regular map, Block 1, and B-1 would just mean a new run. A + sign means they appeared after the first spawn, a / sign means they are part of the first spawn.
Neudaiz

Black Heart Spawn?
* I've read around this wonderful site for information on the Black Heart item, and it seems Deljabans drop them.

Seed-Venus?
* SEED-Venas is a rather special monster, at least for the time being. It appears only in the new online story mission (2-8: Flash of Ruin), where it chases you from room to room and cannot be injured. Its attack pattern is identical to that of SEED-Magashi, a boss of the offline story. SEED-Venas is not a rare monster, though, at least not for the time being. --Qwerty 16:40, 28 April 2007 (BST)

Confirmations
* Would it be possible to add a system where people can confirm if they have found a rare map using the information on this page? maybe after a certain level of confirmation prevent that map from being changed indefinitely?
* Also I would be up for working out the whole earliest-possible-rare-run-determining thing but it would have to be sometime after firebreak, preferably during summer break, if it's not already done by then. 12 21:34, 30 April 2007 (BST)
* I adore this idea. This page has been hit far too much by vandalism, people mistakenly posting wrong variations, and people deleting correct variations just because they didn't realise that "The B-X I got 100 times today and no rare" was really B-1 that had the same enemies up to the rare monsters. - Miraglyth 19:50, 10 May 2007 (BST)
** They're still in the table; I just moved them further down the list after finding out the S(h)ato is a 9-star Kubara madoog. I'm trying to keep the weapons in increasing star order. And that is a good point, Mewn. Maybe I should change the English name to Sato for the time being. Considering all that, I'm sure that's how it will be translated. Besides, with this being a throwback to PSO, I'm sure they'll want to stick with the English name it was given. Same for Sonichi, which became Soniti, I think. EspioKaos 13:45, 16 April 2007 (BST)
** Yeah, it's called Soniti in English. I expect the translations to be consistent with their PSO versions, but it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't, we've already seen an slight inconsistency between the Yasminkov weapons of PSO and the 8* Machinegun Yasminakov 0002. Still, Sato, Durandal (Repca), Varista, Ruby Bullet et al are far more direct throwbacks to PSO and should retain their proper names. Mewn 16:58, 16 April 2007 (BST)
Was Paradis Cataracte confirmed as the official English localization? Just wondering since no S sound appears in the Japanese name. EspioKaos 13:46, 13 April 2007 (BST)
* No, this is my own translation. After some research I believe the name to be French, Paradis being the French word for Paradise/Heaven (which makes sense, since it's the Heaven Punisher SUV). Because it's French, the S is silent, so 'paradi' is the correct pronounciation. Cataracte is French as well, although I have no idea if it will be translated as such (sounds practically the same as Cataract anyway). I consider this to be closer to the true meaning of the Japanese name than either Parody Cataract or Paladin Cataract, both of which I've heard. == Melee Weapons or Monomates? ==
*Irovax: Why is the best thing to feed a Striking PM 1* Weapons? Wouldn't it be Monomates, since weapons cost 350 and Monomates cost 50? Or are they taking the TECHNIC into account? Personally, I'd want my PM to become battle ready as soon as possible...
* Yeah, that's for pure Striking. If all you care about is getting it to L80 ASAP, you're probably best off buying Monomates en masse. Or, if you don't have the cash and are okay with an Armor PM (if you're a HU 440 might not be such a bad choice in battle), you could even use Cast Parts of newly chreated characters or something. - Tycho
*I have found that the quickest and most efficient way to evolve your PM to level 80 is with regular Moon Atomizers. They give +12 striking and +3 tech for a mere 350 meseta! Cheaper, but longer-duration feeding will result from feeding monomates. Uberjuice 20:28, 4 April 2007 (BST)
Content Corrections/Clarifications
*Keldog: Can someone verify that the PM Evolution chart is correct for the fourth stage evolution stat reqirements (i.e. "Ranged <= 30", etc.). Seems like those should be greater than symbols (>) instead of less than (<).
* I think you got confused; they do not contain 'less than or equal to' signals at all. The signs used are 'greater than or equal to' and 'less than' (= evolutions you get when the requirements for the former aren't met). I hope that would answer your question. - Tycho
* cast parts reduce mind
* Why are 1* units recommended over CAST parts? They seem to be more expensive and less effective.
* Faster than recreating ad infinitum; either way works though. - Tycho
* For the GH-420 model (claws), it takes Striking below lv 30 and Ranged above lv 30. ^^ --Shioki
* In the picture of all the GH-44x PMs, 443 is shown as being a Laser Cannon type, with 444 as a Launcher type. The guide to their weapon types did not match the screenshot. This has been corrected.
* Can someone post a slightly clearer description of what each 'personality' type does on the LV80 evolutions? 'Independent' and 'Near Master' are pretty self-explanatory, but what exactly is 'Calculating' supposed to mean? JhonenSantos 11:21, 11 December 2006 (PST)
A PM in battle section is needed
Would answer questions like.
1. Can 440 use technics.
2. Can the armor stat be ignored or is it suicide to go pure 100 stat.
3. How much control you have over the PM.
* About #2, I'm not too sure, but it seems that even with pure 100 striking, the GH410 takes only average damage. It's probably dependent only on class/type of PM.
* About #3, it seems like they act like normal NPCs of their class, i.e. not very much control, other than just following you closely. Seikas2 01:32, 12 November 2006 (PST)
The AI's actually decent about it too, she'll switch to her wand and Resta repeatedly at about 1/3 HP. * Well, it did need something like this. I should still check up on the Japanese description of 450 though; forgot if it mentioned her fire specialism, and thought it might be useful to include element info. I like how you made the behaviour patterns more apparent using the colouring schedule. I'm still wondering about what's with 440 though. Anyway, for now the primary concern regarding PMs is probably rather the Battle Stat stuff, and synthesis influences.

Battle stat (B St)
In the battle stat section, we read "Battle Stat (B St.) or Combat Level (max. 100) - dictates a PM's stats in combat and increases overall synthesis proficiency;".

I'm pretty sure the first part, about combat stats is a given, but then the second fact, about B St affecting overall synthesis proficiency, is this really proven? Almost seems like its a recent addition, especially how its inserted into the existing context about your PM fighting with you

* Not proven; I'll add a question mark or something. - Tycho 15:46, 1 December 2006 (PST)
* I think what was meant by this is to synth items used for feeding, like say a 2★ saber to increase Strike, or guns, wands, or trimates, etc, while collecting more items during missions to synth even more feedables. --Mega 09:24, 11 December 2006 (PST)

How Feeding Works
I believe the feeding details could use elaboration. From my experience and from what just about everyone I'm asking is saying, feeding works thus:

* Feed a PM one item, it's "Fed" count raises by 1.
* If "Fed" count is 100, disable feeding.
* If not fed for 12 hours, set "Fed" count to 0.

This differs from the details currently on the page as they suggest the 12-hour reset only happens if and when the PM becomes full (suggesting that if fed one item every 24 hours, it would be "full" for 12 hours on the 100th day).

Mentioning it here first to get some feedback on clarifying the article before I go ahead and do it. - Miraglyth 03:32, 3 January 2007 (CST)

Dimates are no good for tech raising
* Dimates give two tech, but six strike. Why bother with them when you can just stick to tech disks and starting weapons? Those give a better return for your money and you don't have to worry about undoing stat gain in something you don't want. - The preceding unsigned comment was added by MechaCrash, 23:11, 30 January 2007 (CST)
** Get the heck out. 1* Tech disks are 500 meseta for 6% TECH. Dimates are practically free for 2% TECH. It is *not* hard to alternate Dimates and Tech disks to save money. - Miraglyth 20:07, 30 January 2007 (CST)
*** The problem here is that while you can spend 450 for a +6 tech using Dimates, you use an extra two feedings to do it, and money's not really an object for "fast" feeding. For the cheap feeding, then the dimates are worth using if you have a bunch of them sitting around (and unless you solo constantly as a non-tech user it's hard <i>not</i> to have buckets of them), but the "cheap" feed doesn't really take time into account -- so why not make a few extra newmen for their starting wands? Also, I apologize for the unsigned comment, I'm still figuring this stuff out... MechaCrash 21:50, 30 January 2007 (CST)
**** Ultimately, yes. Newman creation is "cheap" meseta-wise because the clear meseta cost is 0. However, unlike Striking/Armor/Ranged character recreation, for Newmans it is unbelievably slow (4% per Newman as opposed to 30% Armor for Cast) and thus considering the farming capabilities, it is almost certainly cheaper for time to farm and then go the Tech Disk/Dimate route. - Miraglyth 21:58, 30 January 2007 (CST)
***: P.S. You'll note I did keep "Dimates" out of the "Fast" option. But this article is a little outdated in that respect, because for "Fast" levelling that isn't insane (the fastest would be 100 Halarods every 12 hours. Not likely, lmao) the best option for quite a while has been Debuff disks. - Miraglyth 21:58, 30 January 2007 (CST)
I'm not exactly sure how this site works, so if someone sees this and can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Anyways, I'm having some issues understand how to use the Rare Monsters charts. there's A-1 through A-X etc., and Block 1-3 First Spawns listed for each area. Here's what I am trying to figure out.

Let's use Sleeping Warriors, Left Stairs Route, for an example.

~~ For A-1 "Block 1 - Block 3 First Spawn", what does that mean? Does it mean something like, "first spawn in first room" for Block 1, then "first spawn for 2nd room", and "first spawn for 3rd room"?
:I thought that this referred to the first spawns in first room with enemies in Block 1, first spawns in first room with enemies in Block 2, and first spawns in first room with enemies in Block 3. --Seikas2 17:16, 1 January 2007 (CST)

~~ For the A-1 through A-X then, I understand they are different variations, but do you have to get A-X, B-X, and C-X to get rare enemies? Or let's say you get A-X on Block 1 of your run or even Block 2 of your run, theoretically you should automatically get Rappies just because A-X was your Block 1? Or like I said, do you need multiple Block-X's?
:The different A-, B-, and C- layouts are different map orders for the entire mission, with -1, -2, -3, and -X as different patterns of monster spawns. That is, if you don't encounter the "Block 1 First Spawn" in Block 1, "Block 2 First Spawn" in Block 2 and so on for an -X pattern, you probably won't encounter rare monsters. --Seikas2 17:16, 1 January 2007 (CST)

Please let me know, so I can edit the Rare Monsters chart accordingly. I have some variations not posted.
For block 2 of valley of carnage, the enemies listed need to have a sword and shield icon. Also, it needs to spawn as 3 Vanda, and then 2 more, and then 2 more. All with sword and shield.
Can someone please clarify for me which room this phrase refers to? Is it the dead end room where the Key drops, or is it the room before that, with the platform with the barrels on it? Train track room is the room where the key is. The other map which just has train tracks is the actual track part. So for C-X, it is the small room. Fiethron 06:39, 15 December 2006 (PST)
Unsafe Passage B-X
So will the first spawn of block 1 only have 3 pannons and no respawns? I'm sort of confused.

-Can someone Answer this, im confused on this one also.

-Yeah B is a little unclear with the spawns. 3 of the variants start with 3 pannons.

--I spent a while doing LL runs and finally figured out the B-set of maps. B-X is annoying to identify. First, if you go into the first room and there are three pannons, you're on a good start. Kill them, more will spawn. Go to the back part of the room (around the corner but not through the door); if delsabans spawn, you have the wrong set. If it's more pannons, you are in either B-X or B-1. Unfortunately, the block two spawns are the same, so you have to go to block three. But you can skip the enemies down the right path in Block 2.

--All right, I've been running B in Unsafe passage, and am getting the B-1/X variant. Anyhow, just had a question on the block one spawn set. Are we sure that after the three Pannons that there are SIX pannons in the second set? Here's what I mean: http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4640061 I've seen five pannon spawn there multiple times. == VoC woes ==
Para from HongFire.com says: I just tested the Jao C-X spawn pattern and it didn't give me a Jao.. needs more testing and another confirmation?

--Are you sure you didn't get C-1? It seems like Sega made one spawn pattern for each map almost identical to the rare spawn pattern. I've been trying to get Jaos too, and have had no luck either.

No I didn't get C-1. I counted the Vandas and they added up to the C-X spawn number.

-- I think the C-1 spawn count for block 2 might be wrong. I've never seen 3-3 spawn before, always 3-2-2, and I've never seen Jaos spawn. Also, it seems all the other block 2's that spawn with vandas first spawn 3-2-2, never 3-3.

Para: I just got another C-X spawn type with no Jao. I believe the current article on C-X is definitely incorrect and someone needs to determine the right one. It could be possible that the 3-3 Vanda Spawn in Block 2 is the real C-X?

Para: Hmm I just had a spawn today that was C-X and it had Jaggos... There must be something else that can distinguish between the two...

--If thats the case, and there *is* a 3-3 Vanda spawn in Block two of the C map set, then there are more than 3 mundane maps

+If you track the actual creature spawns, you will find that there are two different spawn sets that have a total of 7 vandas - there is the elusive 3-2-2 spawn set, and there is a 3-3-1 spawn set. The best way to tell which one you are getting is to make sure you kill all the vandas on each set at the same time. The issue is that if you don't kill them at the same time, they spawn at varying intervals making it difficult to distinguish what pattern you are getting.

**Does the A-X map work for VoC or is it broken? I finally gave up on C-X as I got the 3-2-2 spawn many times without any Jaos.

I did the C-X with the 3-2-2 spawn many times and didn't see an jaggos. My character is level 60 so 99 % of the time I killed the 3 first vanda at the same time, then two spawn and then 2 more and no Jaggo at all. I've been trying it for many days now and didn't see any jaggo with that map
. If possible, I would like clarification on the C map. I see no difference in c-1 and c-x by the way, both show 3 jisharaga in the first block and then 3 vanda with sword and shield, 2 vanda with sword and shield + 2 vanda with sword and shield in block 2
Are the S rank layouts for rare monsters the same as A-X? These punks keep escaping me on S. >:

*The A/B/C don't refer to the rank of the mission you are playing, they refer to the layout. For example, VoC A1/2/3/X all have the Left Gate route as the first block. VoC B1/2/3/X all have the Northeast Route as the first block. Hope that helps you understand. Umberger 21:11, 3 January 2007 (CST)
Here it is folks..
C1 and CX are identical up until a particular sequence in Block 2.
First get to block 2 with the Vanda 3-2-2 sequence. (if you get the 3-3-1 sequence you will not find the jao)
The difference isn't until you pass the gate.
Pass the gate, go down the hill and kill the 2 Kog Nodds.
4 Vanda's will now spawn
:::THIS IS WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS:::
Two different things can happen...

Number 1: Once all 4 Vandas (withOUT shield and sword icons) are killed one more Vanda will spawn, then lapuchas. No Jao's will spawn in this map.

Number 2: Once a single Vanda is killed, more Vanda's will spawn, then more.(i'm not sure of the number because it's been so few times I've found it (only 4)) Once all the Vandas are killed, the jao's will spawn.

Im not sure if those 4 Vandas have the sword and shield icons when the jao's spawn, I'll have to re-post after the next time I find the jao. I wasn't paying attention the first 4 times I found them (probably because I was excited)

I hope this helps.
This is also true with B1 and BX. These two are also identical until the second room in block two.

I started hunting for jaggos again since the jaggo amure came out and I have to say that, at least since friday, the second block with a spawn of 3-3-1 is right.

Do not neglect the infos post by Ren above me though, since this is also a requirement.

Since there seams to always be a problem with the second block, I would personally suggest getting the first block right and once you have that, go to the end, no matter what. I always do this and saw quite a few jaggo even before the jaggo amure.
On which map variation was this? * Okay, the spawn for A-1 is Vanda x3, Jishigara x1+1. That can be easily seen by anyone. The A-X spawn according to the JP wiki and us (before people took to quietly changing it) was said to be Vanda x3, Jishigara x2. The trouble is now people are sneakily changing this to match the A-1 spawn without any citation, which is troubling considering it goes against the JP data and what we thought we knew already.

Sleeping Warriors Updated
I've been keeping a very close watch to find the exact spawns for EVERY enemy in the Rare Monster rotations for Sleeping Warriors...

I have Long Hall and Left Stairways done, but I noticed on the site here "Block 3 First Spawn for A-X" was incorrect. The First spawn is actually 3 Golmoro's, and 2 Badira. Also, there were 3 Badira in the box to the right at the beginning of Block 3. I know this because I JUST got the map rotation done about 3 minutes ago.

So yeah... Basically I am looking for differences in spawns that occur in the first block between the "X" runs and the others that have identical first spawns. As of right now, if I can test this tonight, there should be a way to tell right away instead of doing an entire block... I think I may have found a difference in Block 1 Long Hall that will tell you within the first 2 minutes. I will give more information when I can guarantee it.
Hello,

I am doing Sleeping Warriors S runs for finding the Rare map the last 3 Days.

what I found out:

1. it is easiest if you only fight when you get the "Long Hall route" because you can check if there are the 3 Badiras downstairs at Block 2 within 6-7 Minutes(I am doing alone so I am not that fast).

So I only did the Long Hall Route over and Over...

I got around 5x the Rare map now. (average is every 2-3 Hours one Raremap) but not even one Power Charge dropped ^^ (15x Ordgus = 8x Meseta 7x Goldania ^^) I will keep on doing. But anyone found out if it has something to do with the first spawn? I forgot to pay attention, but the First Badiras at the Rare map I think are different:

Average is: 6 -> 3 -> 1
But I also saw:
6 -> 4 -> 2
6 -> 2 -> 1

same with the 2nd Badiras. behind the 2x Golmoro Spawns past Gate at Block 1

everytime I had Raremap, there were 3 Additional spawns at the last Badiras in Block 1.

if anyone gets more Information about Sleeping Warriors Raremap:

I can confirm patterns A-x and C-x for Dark Satellite from the main pages layout. I got them both earlier today.

Endrum Remnants..

Neudaiz
Does anybody have any correct layouts for any of the missions on Neudaiz?

I found Rappies on Mizuraki Defense on the route without monsters/boxes. You turn and go through a door and another door before fighting monsters. On this route there were 4 Rappies at the end. I believe the Olgohmans were the first spawn of Block 1. I did not concentrate enough to capture Block 2 or 3.

*Update* I'm no longer confident that Olgohmons is the correct 1st spawn for route 1. :-(

Route 1: Path to the left (no boxes) has either rappies x4 or rappies x3.
(Varchild Beast Lvl 68 2/23/07)

I know of one on Mizuraki Defense. Don't know if I'm correct but just to help out.
Room with 3 boxes: 3 Ageetas, further in ollakas.
Block 2: 5 Ageetas?
Block 3: 3 or 4 ageetas --Wild Goose 22:46, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

For Rainbow Beast, on the first map in the cave, when u run past the Goshins you'll find 4 ollakas. That indicates if you have a rare map. If its 4 ageetas then it's not the right map.--Wild Goose 10:59, 27 March 2007 (BST)
Overhaul Needed?
* A couple of things in this article bother me quite a bit:
** "B1 First Spawn", "B2 First Spawn", "B3 First Spawn" are not sufficient to well-determine rare spawns. For many missions the first time you can tell the difference is mid-way through B1 or B2. Wouldn't it be best to add a field for "First time you can tell if the map is rare or not" ?
** The terminology! If a spawn is three Pannon and two Delsaban, followed by two more Pannon (each spawning as one other enemy dies), then "Delsaban x2 + Pannon x3 + Pannon x2" doesn't accurately describe what spawns when. I believe we should move towards a standard terminology so that such mixups cannot occur.
* Thoughts? - Miraglyth 09:22, 25 March 2007 (BST)
* This would be a lot of work, but I think it would be best to dedicate an individual article to each missions. This would allow us more freedom for explaning things, without worrying about screwing up the semi-consistent tabular system we've got in place currently. I agree though, about the "first spawn" being inconvenient. I just ran a bunch of Fight For Food S2, and in many variants, the only way to tell if it will be rare if the first and last spawn of a certain block are the same enemy. Devoting an article for the rare spawn variants of each mission would allow us to explain these and other nuances more clearly without having a big cluttered mess, which is what we already have anyway. --Qwerty 09:32, 25 March 2007 (BST)
Valley of Carnage needs work!
I have been running VoC all night on S-Rank, and everytime I run the "correct possible map" I have gotten the 3x Vanda(**) + 2x Vanda(**) + 2x Vanda (**). Can anyone confirm these are correct, or should we be looking for 3x + 3x + 1x? I'm aware that you will know if you got the right one near the end of Block 2 depending on how the Vanda's spawn, but has anyone looked into anything else yet? I'm working on it myself, but I can't prove/disprove anything without getting a correct run.

Also, didn't we used to have the correct maps for Mine Defense or System Defense? I swear we had more than VoC, but everything has been wiped clean?

Are there any maps on anyone's wish list? I'm going to be just level bullets soon when I switch to Ranger classes, so I could start working on another map if some of you have suggestions as to what people are looking for. Thanks --Shadow Hado

I've been running Grove of Fanatics the last couple nights and it would be great to have the rare map layout on this mission. I know it takes a good amount of work to do this.. any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! --Ren 20:23, 11 April 2007 (BST)

Crimson Beast
I just wanted to add that when we got Jaggos, the only map that had them also had Shagreece flying around. We had 4 other maps, all had no Shagreece. - The preceeding unsigned comment was added by Shadow Hado on 03:34, 10 April 2007 (BST).
Black Heart Spawn?
I've read around this wonderful site for information on the Black Heart item, and it seems Deljabans drop them.
