Keldog: If the PM gets full at 7:35 am, it will be 7:35 pm before it can feed again.

Red: Online specific information.
Blue: Offline specific information.

Partner Machineries (パートナーマシナリー), or PMs (パシリ) for short, are floating pet robots, like the Mags from PSO, and can be found in one's My Room. In Story Mode Ethan's PM is called 'Pete', but in Extra Mode and Network Mode players are able to choose and change their name themselves.

PMs have several functions:
* Item storage
* Item Synthesis
* Engaging in combat as a sidekick (fourth-stage only)
* Providing plot information and hints (Story Mode)

They also have several statistics:
* Striking - raises the profiency in synthesizing Melee Weapons
* Ranged - raises the profiency in synthesizing Ranged Weapons
* Technic - raises the profiency in synthesizing Casting Weapons
* Armor - raises the profiency in synthesizing Armors
* Production Level (max. 100) - the sum of the above four; determines when evolution takes place
* Combat Level (max. 100) - dictates a PM's stats in combat and increases overall synthesis proficiency; increased by having the PM participate in combat a lot

To increase the first four statistics, PMs can be fed 99 before becoming "full". Once they have been fed 99 items, you must wait 12 hours before feeding them again. They will refuse to eat any Synthesis Boards, Grinders or Presents. One easy way of raising one's PM is to creating a new character for its initial items, put these in the account bank, and repeat. For this, Newmans are best for Technic; Casts for Armor or Ranged; Humans or Beasts for Striking.

Regarding synthesis, the distinct PM evolutions each specialize either in Striking, Ranged or Technic; there seem to be none specializing in Armor. The battle-usable evolutions all have associated combat behaviour and equipment. Not much is known about their stats in combat currently, other than that this is dependent on their evolution and Combat Level.

An item called PM Device ZERO is used to reset your PM's stats to zeros. Although you will lose the level and form of your PM by using the item, you will not lose your money or items stored in that bank.

*Asim: Maybe I should have talked before I replaced the old pic but whateburr. The psu.rdy.jp people are continuing making joke flow charts that are based off the first flow chart parody, and a Story Character being a PM is a bit too much, ST wouldn't let the final form be just one PM, instead 5 like the girls.
*Tycho: Sorry, I was feeling too lazy to edit it out. XP
*Sx: Why does the image from the guide book show Pete as the start PM instead of GH-101? (This is probobly the wrong place for questions >_>)
*Asim: "A flowchart showing the PM evolutions and their requirements (Japanese) for Story Mode.". Ok I'll try to fill in some pictures in the chart to make it more evened out in color
*Tycho: It's no problem; the talk pages are fine for questions. Anyway, the first form seems to be called GHX-005 in for the 'offline' modes, but GH-101 online. 'Pete' is just the nickname Ethan gave to his PM. This means that even after it reaches its final forms, he still keeps calling it Pete. >_>; Sorry for the confusion; I guess the page should be changed to make this more clear.

Offline/Online
*Nisshoku: I'm not 100% sure on this myself, but I think that items have different effect to stats on-line than they do offline. I wonder if we should start working on something like that next.
** They are different, if you can find the stats out that'd be great. The JP Wiki might have some useful info. PS: Subheaders make Talk pages 10x neater XP Mewn

New Additions
*Zarbolord: No has added the 460s yet... I just wanted to place that in. There are new pics.
* Those pictures had been made weeks ago. Anyway, I added them. - Tycho

Melee Weapons or Monomates?
*Irovax: Why is the best thing to feed a Striking PM 1* Weapons? Wouldn't it be Monomates, since weapons cost 350 and Monomates cost 50? Or are they taking the TECHNIC into account? Personally, I'd want my PM to become battle ready as soon as possible...
* Yeah, that's for pure Striking. If all you care about is getting it to L80 ASAP, you're probably best off buying Monomates en masse. Or, if you don't have the cash and are okay with an Armor PM (if you're a HU 440 might not be such a bad choice in battle), you could even use Cast Parts of newly chreated characters or something. - Tycho

Content Corrections/Clarifications
*Keldog: Can someone verify that the PM Evolution chart is correct for the fourth stage evolution stat reqirements (i.e. "Ranged <= 30", etc.). Seems like those should be greater than symbols (>) instead of less than (<).
